Grading Policy
Effort(50%)-The student tried their hardest every day. They did all their work and really
tried to make themselves and their classmates go above and beyond the expectations of
what the teacher has.
Skill(25%)-The student is able to perform the skill. They are able to apply the skill of
volleying to themselves and a partner or over the net. They are able to do it safely, in
control, and can consistently put the ball where they want.
Knowledge(25%)-The students know exactly how to get the ball to go straight up in the
air. The students also know how to get the ball to a partner. The students know how to
get the ball over the net. The students can repeat the skill cues to the teacher or write
them down when asked.

Number Line Grading


4-The student behaved, followed all of the teachers directions, and correctly did the skill.
The student was also was helpful to their classmates whether they helped them
understand a concept or just showed them how to move.
3-The student wasnt always on task but for the most part was putting their full effort
towards completing the task. The student was respectful, didnt have to be spoken to
about behavioral problems, and did not take away from other students learning.
2-The student didnt have their sneakers on today or they had to write a timeout paper. If
the student had to be spoken to multiple times they will get a two. They also were not on
task for most of the class either disrupting other students or just not participating the
whole time.
1-The student didnt participate at all, was disruptive the whole class, and didnt put any
effort into the class. This is for students who didnt complete a timeout paper when told
to by the end of class.
