Project Engineer
 Develop and design shock absorbers according to customer specifications. Coordinate with two
offices in Germany on R&D activates and presented technical advances to customers. Coordinate
building of proto type assemblies and testing to customer requirements.
 Presented VA-VE cost saving ideas (on 47 separate assemblies) to General Motors, Chrysler,
Toyota and Ford totaling cost and labor savings for both customer and company around $35K.
 Worked with key customer on complaints and lead necessary corrective actions (fabrication, testing,
assembly of shock absorbers and strut components and systems), resulting in 30% growth in
current business.
 Coordinated and executed all prototypes to customer’s request (i.e., Q1 and GP11). Confirmed
delivery date, cost and design requirements. Assembled cross-functional team to identify current
components for use or modification with respective projects.
 Worked within and lead cross-functional teams in the areas of PPAP, APQP, DFEMA, and PFMEA.

personnel carrier, a $60 million contract for the U.S. Air Force (350 vehicles). Performed as main
technical point of contact for Initial Operation Test and Evaluation (IOT&E). Developed, installed
and coordinated numerous major redesign concepts for particular assemblies with Air Force
representatives.
 Identified manufacturing problem areas and provided multiple solutions being simple & expeditious
manufacturing procedures resulting in savings of 10% in labor and assembly time per vehicle.
 Requested by customer to continue to provide essential support & additional guidance.
 Demonstrated and participated in operational qualification test.
 Engineering representative for Discrepancy Review Board to provide design solutions from
operational test discrepancies.

 Developed process technology for Special Module Division on converter equipment to meet
required standards. Developed module equipment and test stands utilizing finished product
requirements.

 Assisted engineering on quality and final assembly design of milling, grinding, and boring spindles.
