Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord
endures forever. Praise the Lord (Psalm 117).
ALL nations, ALL peoples, can be recipients of God's love and are commanded to praise Him. Let's pray this week that
Muslims will recognize the Lord's love and enduring faithfulness in their lives.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

CAMEROON: Pray for a Bible school opened 3 years ago by a WAAST graduate in a Muslim-dominated city in
Cameroon. According to a missionary, Muslims in the community are hindering them getting their official Titre
Foncier (the deed to the land) and are trying to steal the Bible school land bit by bit. Pray for the Lord's favor and a
spiritual breakthrough in the city. Intercede also for the 33 students as they prepare for ministry in challenging times
and in a challenging region.
NIGERIA: Please pray for those involved in a national Assemblies of God ministry to university campuses in
Nigeria. Islam is growing, and the Muslim students on the campuses likewise need to be reached. A WAAST alumnus
who works with students in his state says, [This ministry] has been and can still be the right tool for evangelizing and
winning the Muslims and the youth on campus in general. But the approach must be thoroughly reviewed
and...managed by those who have the burden for it and can also give it a reasonable support. Pray that the Lord
would give the leaders and workers wisdom and direction for the most effective outreach. Pray that their lives would
reflect the Spirit's anointing and draw others to Jesus.
PRAISE REPORTS: In the April 24 bulletin we asked for prayer for workers in a sensitive country who were facing
threats. These have diminished and they have been able to fully resume their work. Local people who know them did
not consider the accusation credible; praise God for the good witness these servants have among them. We also prayed
for peace during the Togo elections and in the days following. Results have been announced, and no violence has
ensued. Please pray for President Faure (beginning his third term), especially that his government would continue to
give favor to the work of the Church.

From Global Initiative*

Pray for missionaries in Bulgaria who are ministering to newly-arrived Muslim refugees. In an effort to keep illegal
immigrants and particularly possible terrorists out of their country, Bulgaria is fencing off its border with Turkey.
Still, about 4,000 people, mostly from the Iraq, Syria, and Africa, entered in 2014 alone, and several thousands live in
refugee camps. Pray for God's guidance and open doors for these missionaries to share the Good News with these
who desperately need to hear it!

For Muslim Women**

Pray for women in Mongolia who this week are training for outreach to Muslims in the regions where God has called
them. Though Mongolia is predominately Buddhist, about 4% of the population follows Islam, which was introduced
there in the 700s. Pray that the Lord will embolden and grant wisdom to these women as they apply what they have
learned in this seminar to reach their neighbors.
