So ends this final

installment of the book

Thank God for mv India by Ralph Barter. Just as

India itself has changed, so has the work of the

Clinton Church there in Kanpur.

We have added

Amarjeet Singh to the staff of the mission and

he has begun to carry the gospel to not only

Kanpur but the surrounding villages as well. We
intend that the message be preached for the rest
of this century and beyond until the Lord comes
again.
You can be a part of this work as well,

ask that you pray for the work in India and

consider adding us to your list of gifts.

12th of July,, 1996
Here we are already entered into the second half

1996.

I spent most of the month of May with Mr. and Mrs. Bnason Uriah

in the beautiful green lush state of Meghalaya, and I was very im

pressed with the work that Bnason and Marguerite are doing at Jowai

Jowai was a very comfortable place to spend the hot month of May.. '

Now several of us are planning to attend the annual national con

vention of our churches. Last year it was held in Kanpur while this
year it will be held in the southern city of Cochin, a two-day train

X-

ride from Kanpur. The convention begins August 29th.

/-

The church at Kulpahar is planning a big celebration for the

Golden Jubilee in India of Leah lioshier.

My own fifty years in

will end on August 3rd, 1997, after which I olan to return

to Ohio.

My name is somewhere on the waiting list'at the Canton

Christian Home.

Simdays still find me preaching somewhere or other.

Up in

M^alaya I p^ched 25 different sermons in 25 days. Last year

The Prophets

was the theme of my sermons while this year. I am

preaching on "The New Testament Church.."
