The Boot.wim image file may be used to boot a workstation into Windows PE by
applying imagex to the boot.wim in the start-up command prompt, making certain to specify
the location that both imagex.exe and boot.wim are stored. This will allow the PE image to
be opened.
3. Why is it necessary to run Sysprep.exe on the workstation before you capture an image of
it?

It is necessary to run Sysprep.exe on the workstation before you capture an image of it in

order to remove any configurements previously made to the device making the systems
configurements uniformed throughout an organization.
4. What is the exact size of the image file you created in bytes?
1366 bytes is the exact size of the image file I have created.

1. What is the current status of the Solitaire feature in the mounted image?
Solitaire feature is currently disabled.

2. Why does the command fail to enable the Solitaire feature?

It fails to enable the Solitaire feature since the InboxGames feature must be enabled before
the Solitaire can be.
3. What commands must you use to enable Solitaire?
Dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:InboxGames
Dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:Solitaire

4. Although DISM.exe is a standard executable program, its command line parameters bear a
resemblance to what Windows administrative environment?
The DISM.exe command line parameters bear a resemblance to Windows Automated
Installation Kit.

5. Which computer is hosting the Deployment Wizard?

Currently it is the NYC-CLa computer that is hosting the deployment wizard.
6. If you elected to restore user data, what program would the target computer use to perform
the restoration?
The target computer would have to use the user migration tool in order to perform the
restoration.
