Follower Of Christ

There is much deception and confusion about what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Jesus Christs Blood paid the death penalty your sins required. You are saved from
sins penalty, if you repent (change your mind) and will turn to believing in Christ.
Repentance from sin, involves turning from sin. Faith is turning to Jesus Christ,
fully believing in Him. Faith requires that you repent, and change your mind, by
choosing to no longer sin. Sin will separate you from God, by your disobedience.
...whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Romans 14:23. Faith requires obedience to
God. When you have faith, your behavior should change. And being made perfect,
he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Hebrews 5:9.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10. Confess that you believe that Jesus Is Lord.
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before
my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I
also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33. See Luke 12:8-9.
Your words and actions either confirm your faith in Jesus Christ, or will deny Him.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk
in them. Ephesians 2:8-10. You can not earn salvation by your works, but you should
produce good works that God ordained for you to do, after receiving salvation by faith.
Your works are fruit showing who you belong to. You either produce good or bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth
good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:18-21. Believe in Jesus
Christ, doing what He Says. Christians need to demonstrate faith by their actions.
You can not believe two different opposing things at the same time. You can not have
faith in God, through Jesus Christ, until you change your mind, and turn, from the
sin, that you formerly believed and acted upon. What you believe will change you!
Live by Gods Word! But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. John 4:4.
You need Christs Holiness, being continually guided by Gods Word and Truth.
Follow God as dear children, always walking in Christs Love. See Ephesians 5:1-11.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, keeping yourself unspotted from the world.
