Project 1 (Post Graduation) (Thesis)
Project Name: Process Optimization Using Design of Experiments in Cam-Shaft Casting at
Mahle Engine Component ltd, Pithampur.
Description:
The theme of the project is to study the application of Design of Experiments (Factorial Design)
to find out the factors responsible for the Run-out in four cylinder hollow camshaft casting and
reduce the run-out under the acceptable limit.
Project 2 (Post Graduation)
Project Name: Study of Supply-Chain and Logistics of 7-Eleven
Description
The theme of the project was to study about the supply chain and logistics functions of various
convenience stores worldwide and also in Indian context. It also comprises study of supply chain
strategies of 7-Eleven.
Project 4 (Graduation)
Project Name: Computer Controlled Robotic Arm.
Description:
Its a Robotic arm having 5 Degree of Freedom and having aluminum structure. Keel programming
was used to control it with computer. Servo motors were used as actuators.

Industrial Internship

Organization: Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan (W.B.)

Duration: Three weeks (18th May 2009 to 6th June 2009)
Description:

Achieved familiarization with various steps involved to manufacture electric Locomotive, AC &
DC Traction Motors, Bogies cast & fabricated, Wheel sets & Steel casting. Also familiar with
working of various types of CNC machines and other general purpose machines.

Organization: KOTA SUPER THERMAL POWER STATION (KTPS), KOTA

Duration: 31 days (12th May 2010 to 11th June 2010)
Description:

Achieved familiarization with electricity generation process in a thermal power plant, various
components of the thermal power plant like Boilers, Turbines, heat Exchangers, Super heaters etc.
