Why do you want a do MBA........

Dear Sir/Madam as we know that today's era is full of competition and a lot of uncertainties and in that
condition we do need such a path which could be most helpful for our holistic career. as per MBA is
concern it is the way which passes through that objective wat I asseted d above. apart from that it also
teaches us that how to manage the things in our day to day life.

MBA means only management....I have lots of qualities related to manage the work very techfully so
that y I have choose this field so I can be prove my skills in very better way.......

How can v calcute BSE index?


bse index is sensex.it includes 50companies share.avarege capitalize value of those 50 companies share
is sensex

bse index is called sensex.for that it takes 30 compnys.market capitaliztion movement for these 30
companyes reflects sensex. for this base year is 1991

What is the difference between SENSEX and NIFTY?????


SENSEX is the index of Bombay stock Exchange(BSE)& NIFTY is the index of National Stock
Exchange(NSE)
Sensex the Index number used to depict the changes occured in the position of scrips on the Bombabay
Stock Exchange and the Nifty is used to depict the same on the national stock exchange.The BSE sensex
is composed of 30 stocks and Nifty is composed of 50 stocks.

What is Money market & Capital Market?

Capital markets which consist of:

what is the difference between commercial banking and investment banking?

Profit & loss account is pepare for find out the net profit/Loss for the period whereas Balance sheet is
pepared for find out the financial position of business on a spesific date Profit & loss account is pepared

forefieted shares means which unpaid by the investor to alloted shares. these are again sale to public is

Derivative:
In finance, a security whose price is dependent upon or derived from one or more underlying assets. The
derivative itself is merely a contract between two or more parties. Its value is determined by fluctuations
in the underlying asset. The most common underlying assets include stocks,
bonds, commodities, currencies, interest rates and market indexes. Most derivatives are characterized by
high

leverage.
Derivatives are generally used to hedge risk, but can also be used for speculative purposes. For example,
a European investor purchasing shares of an American company off of an American exchange (using
American dollars to do so) would be exposed to exchange-rate risk while holding that stock.
To hedge this risk, the investor could purchase currency futures to lock in a specified exchange rate for
the future stock sale and currency conversion back into euros.

What are fixed Assets and current Assets?

Fixed Assets are acquired for use over relatively long periods for carrying on the operations of the firm
and they are ordinarily not meant for resale.
Eg-: Land, Building, Plant, Machinery, Patents and Copyrights.

Current Assets are, however, the cash or other resources which have high liquidity within the operating
cycle of the firm. Current Assets are usually held for a short period of time as against fixed assets which
are held for longer
period of time.
Eg-: Cash, Debtors, Inventories, Loans & advances, and Pre-
paid expenses.

fixed assets are which we can not move to once place to another place& also we can not transfer easy
into the cash

current assets are which we can move&also transferable into cash with in one year

What is equity?

Equity is the capital amount which is raised or contributed by the members of the company.

The net worth of a company. This represents the ownership interest of the shareholders (common and
preferred) of a company. For this reason, shares are often known as equities.

What is EPS?
Earnings Per Share (EPS) = Net income (PAT) / No. of
outstanding shares.

PAT=>Profit After Tax


eps refers to earnings per share. it means the earnings available per share. it is arrived by dividing the
profit after tax and preference dividend with number of equity shares of the company.

finance it is regarded as blood of the organisation.without finance the firm can,t be existing.it refers to
the financial assets which r necessary for run the business smoothly.

My Strength is how can do my work at the best which company need from me,

If the product has fail can you sell that to customer?

Yes i can, according to me a product can never be failed untill we count it in scrap. i will search the past
stratigies of company and check the steps of product
lonching, target customer ect. than i target a perticular segment of buyers by creating confidance in
company, in the product, and also provide good after sale services. i will also appoint sale channels with
higher commisions than compititors. Also oblise the old users by providing free services and discounted
spareparts. i am sure it will help in selling any product but it will take some time because "ROME can't
built in a day".

yes...but before selling it i will find out the reason why the product has failed.....i will add some
additional features in the product and do the proper segmentation and positioning of the product before
bringing it in the markert..

what is marketing & why is it useful ?

marketing is a very important part of the sale as if there is no marketing for the product sale is also not
possible. it is usefull in many ways as it help to sell our product easily ,every one will come to know
about the product and thus sale of onces product become easy through marketing

marketing is the way of flowing goods from the manufactur to the end user.in marketing
sales,publicity,advertaisement,promotional activities are the key functions.it is useful to reache the
product to the end user.

wat is marketing strategy?

Strategy, the word means the company policy towards promoting the product in whatever the best
way/means.

The copany can participate in tender to enter into domestic/international market, only if the company has
laid down policies.

Few of the areas the company concetrates is pricing policy (how competitive the price to compete in the
tendering process & win).

Example:
Company like Tata introduced the nano, by setting the budgetted car, whose price is competitive with
several advantageous features.

ANSWER: First of all I will focus on LEARNING as quick as possible about the companies business

myself (if no proper training given...) of company operations, and how success is counted... It will last
for at least 2-3 weeks! Then I will make my own initial analysis about so many factors including sales
figure! sales comparison for last year! when up when down! why? why this? why that? Lot of WHY I

meetings! Will listen to my peers, bosses! Then we will decide course of actions and I will lead those
actions, will work hard with the

what is the difference between JOURNAL ENTRY & LEDGER

a journal is also called as a book of prime entry.transactions occured are first entered in this book to
show which accounts should be debited and which should be credited.
on the basis of entries made in the journal, accounts are prepared, the book which contains the
accounts is called a ledger. transactions entered in the journal are classified according to their nature and
posted in their respective
accounts in ledger. it is also called as book of final entry.

Journal is primary entry book which shows all primary transaction first made in journal & suggest which
a/c should be credited or which a/c should be debited.

on the other hand ledger is an a/c which is prepared on the basis of entries made in journals this entry
also call as book final entry.

difference Between merger and acquisition?

In the case of a merger, two companies A and B combine (or merge) to form a third company C. The
two companies A and B cease to exist and they togrther are called as C. The shareholders of the two
companies A and B now become share holders of a third company C. Merger generally occurs if the
two companies are of same or similar size

In the case of acquisition, one company acquires another. If company A acquires company B, company
B ceases to exist and company A continues to exist. The share holders of company B now become the
share holders of company A. In this case, the size of company a should be larger that that of B
