JOB SUMMARY
Athletic Footwear Consultant reports to VP of Marketing and works closely with
manufacturers and designers of athletic footwear. Footwear consultants are required to
identify the customers' needs and to put themselves in "customer's shoes"

and knowledge of both design and marketing of outdoor footwear.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The ideal candidate should be able to:

resolve problems concerning transportation, imports or exports, or customer issues

input budgeting decisions with VP of Marketing


forecast sales based on historical data
conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems and
procedures in areas such as operations, records management and communications

manage the workflow between designers, manufacturers and marketers
guide designers in creating and testing a product for comfort
evaluate consumer feedbacks with marketing department

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


To fill this position, the ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Business/Management/E1

Shoe Train Consulting


Commerce and an accompanying diploma in Apparel Marketing/Technology. Minimum 4-5
years of Retail Supply Chain/Marketing or related experience is a must.

Ergonomics and Working Conditions


The ideal candidate will be working in an office environment with a requirement to travel
occasionally, both via vehicle and plane, therefore flexibility is a must. Desk, chair,
telephone and a computer will be provided and finger adroitness is a condition that is
necessary in order to be able to type 60-70 wpm using a keyboard. Due to weather and
season changes the building is set up with an appropriate lighting system which creates a
comfortable atmosphere and reduces pressure in the eyes. Computer glasses are available
and useful when looking at the computer monitor for extended hours. Windows and carpets
are kept clean by our cleaning staff as well as dusting is done regularly to provide with fresh
air.
