Summary
On March 23rd, 2014, the 26th International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition (CHINA
MED 2014) concluded in high note in National Conference Center. Undoubtedly, this exhibition was a
successful event. The exhibition area, the number of exhibitors and trade visitors, and the number of
new products and new technology released are all at CHINA MEDs new record high.

The all-encompassing new products and new technology launches were major highlight of CHINA
MED 2014. 50 companies showcased 168 new products and technologies, including GE, Siemens,
Philips, Toshiba, Chindex, Olympus, Fukuda, Drger, Elekta, Quintum, Shenzhen Mindray, Ogener,
Sono sound, Lepu medical, Boston Scientific, etc. The new products and technologies includes

Academic Conferences
During the 26th International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition, the organizing committee
has joined hands with many military and local academic organizations to hold 28 academic
conferences, including four conferences on medical imaging, three conferences on healthcare, four
conferences on clinical technology, seven conferences on bidding procurement, and eleven exhibitors
business presentations. There were about 300 industry specialists, including 15 renowned foreign
experts from the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, Israel and other countries and 19 domestic experts, as
well as 4 academicians.

We have participated in CHINA MED for many times. As a tertiary hospital, we felt
that attendance to this exhibition benefits us a lot. Each time we attended CHINA
MED to get a glimpse of the latest equipment. Several departments in our hospital
have purchased new equipment at the exhibition. In that way, we can serve patients
better, and also push the development of ourselves.

There were so many exhibitors in this year

s CHINA-MED. It is not easy to find a good
booth, and I believe other exhibitors feel the same with me. In the past, we will bring
some adaptive products according to CHINA MEDs characteristics, but this year we
have showcased all our most sophisticated products.

We participate in this exhibition almost every year. Firstly, I think this year we have
met more visitors. Secondly, the exhibitors and visitors are more active, and the
products were better demonstrated than that in previous years. We organized two
forums with the Medical Equipment Association, and both have achieved very good
results. The lectures attenders were very enthusiastic. There were even no seats this
year. Seats should be increased to meet everyone's needs.
