Faith Promises

1. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful
that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good
works: Hebrews 10:23-24.
2. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset
us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto
Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
3. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14.

Matthew 21:22.
8. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of
the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 1:6-8.
9. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6.
10. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that
believeth. Mark 9:23.

11. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may
be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. And in
that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye
shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked
nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John
14:13-14, 16:23-24.

it shall be done unto you. John 15:7.

19. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall
have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but
of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10:38-39.
20. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have
whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23.
21. ...What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought
against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive
your trespasses. Mark 11:24-26.

22. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching

heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in
the midst of them. Matthew 18:19-20.
23. If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15.
24. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10.
25. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He
that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is
not in him. 1 John 2:3-4.

32. The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way
preserveth his soul. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a
fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with
the proud. Proverbs 16:17-19.
