Protection Promises

1. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this
rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your
names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20.
2. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall
rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants
of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:17.
3. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7.
4. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew
himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him... 2 Chronicles
16:9.
5. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places. Ephesians 6:10-12.
6. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the
fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16.
7. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is
he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4.
8. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing
that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity
every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
9. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in
him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the
noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt
thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the
terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh
