Cancer Treatment Centers
The following oncology treatment centers are offering to treat cancer patients who have
been evacuated because of Hurricane Katrina. Call the facilities to learn how you can
receive treatment while you are unable to access your primary care facility.

Service Description: Provides information on obtaining temporary emergency
prescription refills for evacuees; call Board of Pharmacy or local pharmacy for more
details; if possible, bring drug bottle, label, or prescription with you to pharmacy; if
previous prescriptions were filled at a national chain, go to a local branch of that chain to
get the prescription filled
