and NEW twin white bed sheets. Items may be dropped off at the church office or placed on the
front pews on Sunday mornings. This change will help us SHARE OUR LOVE!

MODELs will be meeting at Freddys on SR 200 for lunch on Thursday, May 21st. at
12:30 pm. This is a new restaurant located where the old Chic -Fil-A was.
The next Newsletter will be for 3 months: June, July and August. Articles need to be
turned into the office no later than Monday, May 18th. Thank you for your cooperation.
THANK YOU: Elmos daughter, Jan Bullock wants to thank the Prayer Shawl Ladies
Group for the lovely shawl. She said it would be put to use when she gets her radiation
treatments. Jan attended this church as a child and loves it very much and has many fond
memories.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit and divine
power to serve others.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to realize the gift that you have given unto us and use it to
bring Christ to others. In Jesus name. Amen.

United Methodists Respond to Nepal Quakes

How You Can Help

As events and needs continue to unfold in Nepal in the aftermath of the

earthquake, you can help.

people of Nepal, for Global Ministries and UMCOR partners at work
on the ground there, and for Global Ministries five missionaries
and their families assigned to serve there.
