game. Because it can entertain people, it is an exercise, and also it can make
friends. Whatever the reason, it makes you happy,
makes you to forget the
worries in your life and
most valuable of all, it helps
you to enjoy life.
ROTARACT-LEO CRICKET FIESTA six a side cricket tournament was
such an event full of joy and enthusiasm, not only that it was full
of competition. This event was organized by the joined effort of
the Leo Club of University of Moratuwa and the Rotaract Club of
University of Moratuwa. It was organized for find the young talent
hidden within the university students and encourage them. Organizers wanted the young minds of the university to roam freely
and have fun at least for a day and get
away from the normal day to day lifestyle
burdened and stressed by the academic
work.

There is a machine which can produce 100

items per hour when it works with 100% efficiency. But the machine maximum working
efficiency is 92%. When we coupled two machines together total production will be increase as the addition of each machine whilst
total machine efficiency reduced as the multiplication of each machine. Same as we can couple any number machine to maximize the
hourly production. In that way what is the most suitable number of machines
should be coupled to be taken a maximum production under maximum machine efficiency (92%)?

67 th INDEPENDENCE DAY
Though the Freedom is a single word its not a thing which Sri Lankans achieved by a single day or
one year. Great leaders of our nations, even though they are Sinhalese, Tamils or Muslims offer their life
to make Sri Lanka independent, more than four hundred fifty years.
As alive blood of those leaders and peoples who use to use that freedom gifted by past leaders, we are
having a responsibility to commemorate their efforts. When Sri Lankans celebrate 67th Independence
Day ceremony, as a set of youth leaders of our nation UoM Leos came forwards to fulfill that national
responsibility.
Some colorful flyers with beautiful poems were shared through UoM Leos facebook fanpage and E-mail
network every day of independence week. Not only that a huge promotion campaign was conducted at
Galle on 4th of February by sticking strikers in public and privet vehicles, which cause to enhance the
nationalism within Sri Lankans. Here we would like to be thankful everyone who support to make those
things successes.

AIM TO SKY, THEN AT LEAST YOU

WILL REACH TO A CLOUD...

Surely, your life may have filled-up with plenty of dreams. Just think
for a minute, are those dreams attainable? Sometimes your answer will
be Yes. But some of your answer could be No. As all of we us know,
traditional goal setting theories says that a gall should be measurable
and attainable.
But when we think with our common sense, its better to aim bit far
away where that you can reach and you want to reach. While you are
working on towards theat target where that is bit far away with from
the level of you actually you want to archive, obviously you will pass a
level which can be satisfied.
At the same time, keep in your mind to do a self-review about the path
you came, at every landmark which you are passing in your journey to
your goal. Get a clear understanding about the things, you failed and
you succeeded. Always, make your life happy about the thing you have
successfully completed. For sure it will energize and motivate you for
the remaining part of your journey which you have to complete.
Dont be demotivated with the things you were unsuccessful. Understand, why you failed, where you failed. Those things will guide you
while traveling the reaming part of your journey to attain the dream.

LEO WALK- 2015

Annual Leo walk is a leading event which was organized by Leo Multiple District 306, once a year under
the category of PR and Publicity. As usual, Leo walk for the leostic year of 2014/2015 was organized on
22nd of February 2015 Under the Leadership of multiple district president Leo Anju Supun. Even though
it was a cold Sunday by noting end of another busy week, Leos of Sri Lanka gathered in front of Lions
Activity Center - Colombo to show the strength and powerfulness of Leos.
The Leo walk was started to walk at sharp 9.30am towards the Viharamahadevee Open Theater. On
the way to Viharamahadevee Park Leos of all six Leo districts made the noise of Leos of Sri Lanka. It was
a wonderful sight to see that more than five hundred Leos walking together with colorful decorations.
After waking more than three hours without considering about the sunny weather condition, Leos came
to their destination, the open theater,Colombo 07.
The closing ceremony of the event was started with the presence of chairmen for the Leos of Leo multiple district 306 Sri Lanka, Lion P.P.C Unverdole MJF, Multiple district president and all six district
presidents.
After having another funny day with Leo family, everyone say good bye with
their relaxed minds.

We cannot teach people anything,
We can only help them, discover it within themselves

Life has its own hidden forces. Expectations, targets, talents, courage, dedication, intelligence and so
on.
To win the life, a person needs to discover them by living their own life. But most of them are not able
to discover themselves by their own. They need a support.
This year, Annual Leo Youth Camp was held under the theme Discovering Infinity. It was a massive
opportunity for Leos to discover and improve the attitudes and leadership qualities within ourselves.
Leo Youth Camp, 2015
was successfully proceeded for 3 days from
February 6th to 8th in
Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery (Gunners
Camp), Minneriya.
This year Leo youth
camp was colored with
Hike to Nagalakanda, Adventurous games such
as crossing the barriers,

monkey ladder, Tarzan rope, crossing a river, shooting and so on were done on the last day. Talent shows,
food making session, little parliament and fire night. It was full of fun, adventure and amazing time to
enjoy improve the leadership, team spirit, self-confidence and self-motivation. Finally We Discovered the
Infinity from this precious experience and had bunch of remarkable memories for a lifetime.

COMPANERISMO

As leaders, LEOS create more leaders other than making followers. COMPANERISMO, a leadership
and positive attitude development program for the future leaders; was held on 21st February at C. W. W
Kannangara College, Colombo 08. The program was especially for the newly appointed prefect board of
the college. Special guest Lion Shehan Kumar also joined with COMPANERISMO to share his leadership
experiences with the young leaders. The session with Lion Shehan Kumar was very impressive and the
students learnt a lot from the lecture. The day was filled with joy, competitiveness, courage. The day was
not just to enjoy; they had a lesson for their lives
