Installation for sagent weblink client setup in client

machines:
Please login as a Administrator.
Open my computer

Type into the address bar (As marked in picture)

ftp://10.196.222.45
Press enter

Enter user name as - ftp

Password as ftp123
Press Log On

And double click on the WebLink Client Setup.exe file

Now click on save

Select desktop and save.

Now go to desktop and double on the WebLink Client Setup.exe file

Click next

Check the accept terms and license agreement and click next

Check the sagent Weblink Client tab and click in Next

Click on Install for further

Click finish and restart the machine to complete the Installation.

After installation you may find the Sagent folder and c:\\Program file

Make sure that under sagent directory following 17 files should available.

And please try to login after clearing the DNS cache, browsing history and cookies in
your machine.

Click on Tools Internet options

And click on Delete under browsing history pane check the four mandatory boxes
as shown below and click delete for further.

Steps to replace the sagent folder :

Go to the ftp site: ftp://10.196.222.45/

User name : ftp password : ftp123 (already shared)

Right click on SAGENT folder:

Go to the C:\Program Files location in local machine and do paste. And click yes to
all for replace.

Other Issues you may find while accessing the Reports:

1. Add-on need to be enabled to run the active X control.
2. Update failed, error loading dll
3. Update failed, error moving file to destination
4. Sagent ver6.7 the Enterprise Reporting is not working in Win7 with IE9 version.

1. Add-on need to be enabled to run the active X control.

If you are find any error regarding add-on like below mentioned please allow by
clicking the Run Add-on All Websites.

Then click Run to run the active control

Then please login again.

2) Update failed, error loading dll

If you are facing any issue regarding with Update failed or error loading dll like
below, Please follow the procedure to fix:

Click on (OK) button.

Click on report transform displayed at bottom of screen
Results get displayed
From now onward this error will not appear

3. Update failed, error moving file to destination:

Resolution:
Client machine user should be an administrator.
If client machine is window7 or above then UAC is enabled.

Please find the below procedure to disable the UAC (User Account Control).
a. Click on windows button and type user as shown below.

b. Then click on Change User Account Control settings as shown below:

c. And drop down the notification bar to never notify state as shown below:

d. And restart the computer to fix the issue permanently:

4. Sagent ver6.7 the Enterprise Reporting is not working in Win7

with IE9:

a. Uninstall Sagent web link client ( had 6.5 version showed up in control panel
)

b. Removed Sagent files from C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files

c. Disable the UAC.

Install the sagent web link client setup 6.7 version as mentioned first :

e. Please provide the sagent folder permission as below.

Go to C:\Program Files and right click on properties.

G. Give allow permission for CREATOR OWNER user and Trusted Installer user
as shown here

H. All plans will runs good. All sinks were properly displayed
