Modules
Module 1: Computer Hardware Concept.
Computer hardware is the collection of physical elements that constitutes a computer system.
Computer hardware is the physical parts or components of a computer, such as the monitor,
mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, hard disk drive (HDD), system unit and so on, all of
which are physical objects that can be touched. In contrast, software is instructions that can be
stored and run by hardware.
Motherboard
The motherboard is the main component of computer. It is a large rectangular board with
integrated circuitry that connects the other parts of the computer including the CPU, the RAM,
the disk drives (CD, DVD, hard disk, or any others) as well as any peripherals connected via the
ports or the expansion slots.
Components directly attached to or parts of the motherboard include:
The Chipset, which includes the north bridge, mediates communication between the CPU and
the other components of the system, including main memory.
The Random-Access Memory (RAM) stores the code and data that are being actively accessed
by the CPU.
The Read-Only Memory (ROM) stores the BIOS that run when the computer is powered on or
otherwise begins execution, a process known as Bootstrapping, or "booting" or "booting up".
The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) includes boot firmware and power management
firmware. Newer motherboards use Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) instead of
BIOS.

Module 2: Partition/Formatting and Windows Installation.

Formatting can take hours to complete, but it is a good option when you have a new or
inherited drive that is not properly formatted, a drive overrun by malware or other software
problems, or a drive in need of a fresh start before a Windows installation. To format an
internal or external hard drive to use for backup or additional storage, the drive needs to be
partitioned. Partitioning divides your drive into sections, but you can choose to simply have
one partition

Module 3: Windows Settings and Security.

Windows Firewall is a software component of Microsoft Windows that provides firewalling and
packet filtering functions. Windows Firewall can be controlled/configured through a COM
object-oriented API, scriptable through the netsh command.

Module 4: Software and Utilities.

BIOS settings of different laptops/desktop motherboards: As AWARD, AMI, INTEL, MITSUBISHI,
HYUNDAI, SST, WINBOND, PHOENIX etc.

Module 5: Basic Electronics.

Introduction and determining values of SMD(Surface Mounted) components: resistors,
condensers, Semiconductor diodes and Zener diodes, PNP and NPN transistors, N-Channel
and P-Channel mosfets, N-Channel and P-Channel Power Trench mosfets, resistor color coding
system, fuse, connectors, and coils

Module 6: Chip level Practice with Testing & Repairing Tools.

Repairing Human Interface Devices (Keyboard, Touch-pad, Trackball etc.). Technique of using
Multi tester. Replacing Mobile Processor, FPC belts, DVI cables, switches, speakers, web cams,
ventilation fans, Bluetooth cards, WI-FI cards, WI-FI antenna cables of laptops.

Module 7: Circuit Tracing and Repairing of Motherboard.

Identification of all chips and crystals on the motherboard. Power management of a laptop

Module 8: Laptop Hardware Concept.

A laptop combines the components and inputs of a desktop computer, including display,
speakers, and keyboard and pointing device (such as a touchpad or a track pad) into a
single device. Most modern-day laptops also have an integrated webcam and a microphone

Module 9: Circuit Tracing and Repairing of Laptop

All the things mentioned in our syllabus are on 100% practical basis. We
mainly focus on component/chip level repairing. In this training we will
provide study material also but our faculty mainly focuses on practical
approach.
