Prayer Request
Please remember our 22 month
old grandson, Easton, who will
be getting a cochlear implant
next week. Also due to some
unexpected medical bills for
Rebekah, God provided a
temporary part time job for Tim.
Rebekah has also become a
Juice Plus distributor. She feels
a calling to help others get
healthy in their body, soul and
spirit. Prayers are appreciated
for financial provision. Rebekah
is happy to share that no major
health issues exist. Also prayers
appreciated for Rebekah's
book writing and blogs.

Network 220 conference in

Washington D.C.
We were so blessed to be able to attend the annual conference for
Network 220 (formerly AELM). As you know, Rebekah has
served as the administrator for the AELM for five years so the
annual conference was always a work week for her. It was
wonderful to be able to attend for the first time without being
involved in the details. We were blessed by several keynote
speakers and workshop leaders that encouraged us and gave us
more tools to use in our ministry. It was also a blessing to see so
many dear friends since we did not attend last year. The theme of
this conference was "The Outrageous Love of God. " Thank you
to those who provided the funds so that we could get away and be
refreshed and reminded of our purpose and calling. God is
faithful!

Counseling
We know from experience how dicult it can be to take o work
to come for counseling. This is why we have always been flexible
with our schedules. We are available on weekends and most
evenings. We appreciate your referrals.

Marriage Conference at Calloway Gardens

John & Stacey Lynch

One of our favorite ministers is
John Lynch. What a surprise to
run into he and Stacey in the city
before the conference began. If
you have never heard John speak
or read any of the books he coauthors, please look him up. His
honesty and transparent way he
shares about God's grace is
refreshing. We also attended a
conference in GA this past
weekend presented by John
Lynch, Bill Thrall and Bruce
McNicol on their book "The
Cure." We plan to have a small
group in our home using this
powerful book. We love this
statement on the front of the
book. "What if God is not who
you think he is and neither are
you. " We often see distorted
concepts of God with our clients.
If we don't have a correct
concept of God, nothing will
make sense. Reading the bible
through eyes of grace is life
changing. How do you hear the
scriptures in your mind as you
read them? Many times it is a
new concept to think Jesus may
say things in a tone of voice that
communicates love and patience.

In March we had the privilege of sharing our marriage conference

with couples from New Harvest Church. Former clients invited
us to share this conference with their home church that is located
in Hamilton, GA. What a blessing to see couples take a weekend
out of their busy schedules to nurture their relationships! They
were such an easy and fun group! Here are some of their
comments:
"I really appreciate the sharing of your stories because we could
relate! It amazes me how much we had in common with you
both. It is great to know that everyone has issues that can be
resolved with God."
"This was our first marriage conference. It was a joy and we
learned a lot. We will definitely recommend this conference to
others."
