Purpose - Developing Students Colossians 1:9-10 For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we havent stopped praying for you. We are asking
that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, 10so that you may walk
worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work s and growing in the knowledge of God.
The student ministry of Ankeny Baptist Church is committed to building intentional relationships with students and
families for the purpose of developing spiritual leaders.

ABC Student Ministry Values
The Word of God as the truth that shapes and directs believers lives taught in every teaching time to be
implemented in every area of life.
The importance of the family and the involvement of parents in the lives of students
Youth Sponsors playing a key part in the purpose of developing students.
The students being a part of the body at ABC which means salvation, baptism, church membership, and
serving in the body are vital.
Loving and fellowshipping with one another.
Seeing students spiritual lead in the circles of their life. Reaching out to friends desiring their salvation and
spiritual growth
Goals for 2015
To have 2 students come to know Christ through the influence of this group.
To have parents start helping serve in youth activities once a quarter.
To see all high school students baptized.
To average 30 students in Wednesday youth group and 20 students in Sunday School.
To have one outreach, teaching, fellowship, or serving activity each month.
To have 85% of our students attend WinterBLAST 2015.
To have 90% of our eligible students at the summer missions trip.
To have 70% of our eligible students camp @ IRBC
To see a greater measure of spiritual leadership in the lives of our students identifiable by actions, attitude and
interactions.
To have 80% of our youth group serving in one local church ministry outside of youth group.
To emphasize the application of Gods Word to the life of the student:
(Mentored on Wednesday Nights and 1o1 Mentoring)
