STATUS REPORT
PROJECT:
PROJECT HERCULES

Reporting period: 5th of May 2015 to 26th of May 2015
Project summary
The objective of the project is to help Pegasus Trucks track their
expenses and companys stock efficiently by installing a new ERP
system (with appropriate Hardware). The project is also being
undertaken to help Pegasus Trucks to load their delivery trucks faster
and efficiently while taking care of the product quality by installing
industrial robots for the company.
The project was started on time at 9:00am on Tuesday 22nd April 2015.
The project is scheduled to be over by 18th May 2015. The progress of
the project will be reported weekly to the director of ESC, Dr. Raymond
Osiris. The reporting dates are: 5th May 2015, 12th May 2015, 19th may
2015 and 26th May 2015. The agenda of these status meetings will be to
discuss the project schedule review, budget review, resource use
review, any risks involved, risk management and further action plans.

Schedule
The following table will describe the full analysis of the schedule of the
project. It will show the start date of the project and end date, the
completed milestones and all the human resources that will be required
for the project. This schedule will also show all the changed tasks and
dates as the project progressed till the 7th of May.

The following list will show all the tasks that are yet to be done and will
commence after the 7th of May 2015.
Budget
The following table will describe the budget analysis for the project that
must be considered in undertaking of the project. It will describe the
description of the cost in the project, the amount that will be needed for
each, the rate per unit and the total amount for each description. It will
also show the following changes in the budget that have been made as
the project has progressed till the 30th of April. No budget changes have
been made as the project progressed further till the 7th of May 2015.
The total amount for the Cabling has gone up to $546 as it took 7
hours instead of 5 hours.
The budget now has an additional cost of $3,000 for a Graphic
Artist, Fred as demanded by the CEO of Pegasus Trucks, Dr.
Zeus.
The budget also has an additional cost of 1,800 for a Web Page
Designer, an employee of ESC for the website.
The budget also has a total cost of $5,250 for the impact of
changes of the late finishing of building work, late completion of
cabling, late delivery of the Daedalus server and the additional
cost of the graphics artist and web page designer, which has been
agreed by Dr. Zeus.

Problems
The changes in the tasks for the last weeks status report have affected
a few tasks in this weeks report. Due to the delay in the delivery of the
Daedalus Server, the installation was delayed but has now been
completed. This did not affect any other task and the installation of the
ERP system went according to plan. As these tasks are completed, they
did not impact the budget or the finish tie of the schedule.
The Web Page Art work also started according to plan as the ERP
installation completed on time. This did not impact the budget either and
did not change the end date of the project or have any other significant
impacts on the schedule.
The Data Conversion analysis was delayed by 1 day, as it was
dependent on the Daedalus Server installation. Since there was a delay
to install the server, the Data Conversion analysis could not be started
until Monday, the 4th of May 2015. It still took 2 hours as anticipated and
ended on the same day. But there are no significant impacts of this
delay on the schedule as the projects end date is still the same. To
avoid any severe impact there was already extra time allocated for this
job. There was 1 day kept in the initial project plan provided. Originally,
there was also a gap between the Training and Data Conversion of 2
days excluding the weekend. The training wouldnt start till Monday next
week. So the 1 day delay in the Data Conversion Analysis would not
make a big impact on the entire schedule or the Training or the end
date.
