RESPONSIBILITIES AT WORK
Working as a site engineer at TEESTA STAGE III HYDRO POWER PLANT and I have
involved in all types of execution works from Excavation to Super Structure
The various stages of works where I have involved in the execution works include:
Under Ground Excavation, civil works like a Superstructures, Substructures and Under
Ground Structures.
Reviewing the shop drawings and responding to field questions
Calculation of Quantities of different materials like concrete, reinforcement, shuttering
required, etc. and giving indent to stores for the materials required at site for proper
execution
Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule
Daily Preparation and maintenance of execution records such as Daily progress report,
concrete O.K. cards and pour cards.
Aiding the Quality Control department in testing of different materials such as soil,
reinforcement, concrete and other construction materials.
Preparation of monthly contractors bill for different works executed such as concrete,
reinforcement, shuttering, Structural works etc
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Three years of experience in the Hydro Power Plant construction including

Cut-off

wall(Diaphram wall), Underground structures like Spillway Tunnels, Head Race

Tunnel(H.R.T.),Desilting Chamber, Gate Shaft and Intake Structures.
Broad expertise in Tunneling activities including Drilling, Blasting, Rock supports, PreGrouting, Concrete lining, Post-grouting. As a Engineer in charge for the successful
commissioning of diversion tunnel of 1.0km tunneling (from excavation to commissioning)
in Teesta Stage III HEP, North Sikkim.
Well exposure in the Mass concrete Structures along with R.C.C Structures.
Well exposure to construction of retaining walls and pre-stressed cable anchors (Tendons) in
retaining walls.
Extensive experience in preparing monthly targets for project & preparing Bill of Quantities.
Well exposure to billing about Hydro Electric Projects.

 Skilled in working with both professional and technical teams to achieve desired results, from
project conception to completion as Site Civil Engineer.
Good working knowledge using Microsoft Office Software, AUTOCAD & Sketch up.
Has high regards to Time, Cost, Quality standard.
