MAC Scanner License Agreement
This License Agreement is a legal contract between you (either as an individual
or as an entity) and Colasoft Co., Ltd. ("COLASOFT") for the product Colasoft MA
C Scanner ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT").
You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using the So
ftware Product. Installation or use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT indicates your accep
tance of this License Agreement. If you do not agree with the following, do not
use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and remove it from your storages.
Copyright
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and Documentation are copyrighted by COLASOFT and are prote
cted by international copyright laws. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT contains copyrighted
software of COLASOFT. All rights reserved. You agree not to remove any trademark
s or copyright notices from the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and Documentation.
Free License
You may use the free version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT free for personal and educa
tional use but NOT for commercial use. For commercial use, you need to buy a "Co
mmercial License".
However, media costs associated with the distribution of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ma
y be recovered. You shall use your best efforts to promptly notify COLASOFT upon
learning of any violation of commercial restrictions.
You are allowed to distribute the free version of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT complete
of all files to others. You are not allowed to add, remove or change any of the
se files. This SOFTWARE PRODUCT and the attached documentation can not be distri
buted together with commercial software. For this you need to purchase a "Commer
cial License" from COLASOFT.
By using the free version of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT you may not claim for product
support by the manufacturer. Anyway, the manufacturer will make an effort to an
swer support requests. Product support will be provided via e-mail. Before trans
mitting your support request please read our hints. Probably you will be able to
find a solution to your problem and you don't need to contact us. Very importan
t is that you indicate the correct version of the software and the used programm
ing language.
Commercial License
If you are not a personal or educational user you should purchase for a commerci
al license from COLASOFT.
With a commercial license means that COLASOFT grants you a non-exclusive, non-tr
ansferable permit to use one copy of SOFTWARE PRODUCT subject to the terms and c
onditions of this License Agreement. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
COLASOFT may terminate this License Agreement if Licensee breaches any of the te
rms and conditions. In the event of such termination and upon expiry of the lice
nse granted herein, Licensee will delete the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from any files and
data storage. All provisions of this License Agreement relating to disclaimer o
f warranties, limitations of liability, remedies, or damages, and COLASOFT's pro
prietary rights shall survive termination.

Save to the extent expressly permitted by this License Agreement or mandatory pr

ovisions of law, Licensee shall not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompi
le or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any part thereof.
In no case shall the Licensee distribute any components or files provided with t
he SOFTWARE PRODUCT package. In no case may the license key file be distributed.
The licensee is to store the license keys and files supplied by COLASOFT in a s
afe place. COLASOFT is not responsible for lost license keys or files and cannot
issue new keys or files to replace lost keys or files.
The licensee is required to hold the license keys and files secure. The licensee
will be held responsible for any unauthorized use of the license keys or files.
The licensee agrees not to attempt to bypass the license mechanism or generate u
nauthorized license keys or files.

THIS SOFTWARE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER E
XPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILIT
Y OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL COLASOFT. BE LIABLE TO Y
OU FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT O
F THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH D
AMAGES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS LICENSE, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGRE
E TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China an
d International Intellectual Property Protection Treaties.
Other Restrictions
COLASOFT, in its sole and absolute discretion, may have included a portion of th
e source code or online documentation of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Except for any su
ch portions, you shall not REVERSE ENGINEER, DECOMPILE, DISASSEMBLE, OR OTHERWIS
E REDUCE ANY PORTION OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT TO ANY HUMAN PERCEIVABLE FORM, exce
pt to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
