to save your books
Lying press
he press in the lying position the most basic
phase of bookbinding process- provides a pair of
wedge- shaped hardwood backing boards with
bronze- faced beveled edges. It is easy to use and
readily prepares the book for sewing, gluing and
rounding.
Sewing frame
he sewing frame is assembled on the base of the
unit located at such a position as to allow you to
work unhindered. Whats more it can easily folded
down and, even, removed entirely from the base
unit and used separately.
Plough
he plough offers the perfect tool to trim the edges
of your book after sewing and gluing. This
versatile and compact piece of equipment is easy to
use and will cut book edges accurately and cleanly.
It has a long steel blade that will cut up sheet sizes
up to 50 cm long.
Finishing press
n the lying position a pair of fine edged boards are
provided in order to clamp books securely in place
allowing them to be lettered or decorated.
Standing press
he standing press is used for the final pressing of
the book during the drying process. Its unique
innovative design, allows the press element to rotate
effortlessly, to the vertical position. A pair of
wooden press-plates applies uniform pressure across
the book.
Working Table
he rotation ability, allows the press elements to
fold, thus offering an alternative working surface.
Two wooden plates placed on top, create the
working table.
