Math Assignments
Incoming Grades 4-8
Students are required to know their Multiplication Times Tables up to 12.
Students should regularly practice using Mathletics online.
Reading Assignments
Incoming Junior Kindergarten (4 yr. olds) 2nd grade:
We ask that these young emergent readers join a local library or bookstore summer
reading club. Please encourage non-fiction as well as fiction books to continue to
develop all types of reading skills.
Incoming 3rd 7th grade:
These independent readers should choose two (2) fiction books and one non-fiction
book from the grade levels lists below. During the first week of school, the teachers will
be assessing what was read. These book selections are the required reading and the
assessment will be one of the first grades given in the new school year.
Incoming 3rd Grade

Then select ONE of the novels from the list below:
