VARIABLE WORK TABLE XC30

The Variable Work Table XC30
has
been
designed
and
manufactured to provide the
versatility to safely handle a
range of components on the new
Ultra Class range of mining haul
trucks with a carrying capacity
up to 400 tonnes.
The main frame carrier is self
propelled
and
hydraulically
operated and has a safe working
capacity of 30 tonnes (on the
table). The table is pre drilled to
accept specific jigs including the
new Multi-Jig Attachment. An
independent 4 stroke diesel
engine and a portable remote
control
gives
VWT-XC30
freedom to move around the workshop.
Additional new features include simultaneous front and rear wheel drive, front and rear wheel
steer, multi jig head tilt and rotate functions, and system isolator with lock out capability.
The XC30 has a diesel and electric option to suit customer needs.

MULTI JIG ATTACHMENT with HEAD

TILT OPTION
This jig is used to provide additional movement functions for the Multi Jig Attachment to add
to the range of components which can be accurately removed from large trucks, loaders and
other items of plant. Examples of additional items, which may be handled as a result of this
feature, are:
Any Strut or Cylinder which has camber
In addition to the standard function of the Multi Jig, this hydraulically operated attachment has
the following additional movement range:
Tilting of the head forward 15 degrees from vertical through vertical to backward 5
degrees from vertical

IT/TELE HANDLER ATTACHMENT

The hitch arrangement is designed to provide hydraulic rotating head function (powered from
existing quick attach hydraulics on existing equipment) for the accurate manipulation of the
Cylinder Jig and strut clamp arms. Examples of items, which may be handled, are:
Front Hubs
Front Struts
Hub and Strut assemblies
Hoist Cylinder (additional jigging required)
Rear Struts (additional jigging required)
The jigs can be manipulated 15 anti clockwise and 15 clockwise; this provides a safe
method of rotating cylinders for placement.
This attachment will be certified to Australian Standards.

QUICK HITCH (CYLINDER CLAMP) &

TOOLING
The Cylinder Jig attachment is used to enable safe and efficient handling of large hydraulic
cylinders, including Hoist Cylinders and Rear Struts.
Utilizing a telescopic arm design, the reach of the clamp can be easily altered for two lengths
of operation, by pinning the adjustable arm to the required length.
The Cylinder Jig provides for two methods of handling struts:
1. Cylinder Clamp Head. For the clamping operation, the cylinder is restrained by a pair
of tensional wire ropes.
2. Lifting Hook. A lifting hook is provided under the clamp head so that this jig can also
be used as a Jib Crane.
Features of the Cylinder Jig are:

Positive and firm restraining of the cylinder, enable it to be tilted to various angles for
removal or installation to difficult locations

797 TRANSMISSION HOIST

The CAT 797 Transmission Hoist is a specialised Trilift jig designed to assist with the
removal and installation of CAT 797 transmissions without removing the truck body.
The hoist frame has been designed to allow placement on the truck chassis using the
workshop overhead crane. Once in position the hoist is connected into the workshop air
supply using a 1 diameter airline with Minsup connector.
Hoist hydraulic functions include winch raise/lower, winch portal extend/retract and
transmission right/left rotate or tilt
via two additional cylinders.

The Trilift TH2000 is a self propelled, 3 wheeled main frame carrier designed to assist with
the removal & replacement of the tyres/wheels of underground vehicles. It is designed with a
Safe Working Load of up to 2000kg. A pair of wheels at the front of the carrier provide
stability and a single rear wheel provides steering and the forward and reverse motions.
For added stability the telescopic support arms are prevented from being raised unless they
are fully retracted. Proportional control valves provide motion control when aligning the jig
with the tyre or wheel being removed.

To enable the TH2000 to be transported more

rapidly over greater distances, a self loading
trailer with a swivel40mm drawbar is available.

GET PIN PUSHER

Due to the dangers of removing GET pins the traditional way we have developed a compact
portable Pin pusher which will negate the need for use of a hammer.
This Pin Pusher will be available in two models, manual and rechargeable 18V battery
powered pump unit.

This tool has been developed to safely lift and place GET, cutting edges, corner tips etc from
large earth moving equipment.
Complementing our current range of GET lifting tools, this new design allows for lifting of
cutting edges with square or round holes and new reversible double countersunk cutting

CAT A FRAME PIN LIFTING TOOL

The A-Frame Jig is designed for the removal of the A-Frame connection Pin and Mounting
Blocks that connect the wish bone to the chassis on most CAT trucks. After the bolts have
been removed the wish bone is lowered onto the chassis rail the A-Frame Jig is then
positioned in place for the safe removal and installation of the 2 Mounting Blocks and
Connection Pin.
The current method of installation and removal can prove to be a difficult operation as the pin
and mounting blocks are heavy and the working environment is confined.
The new A Frame Pin Lifting Tool complements the Trilift range of Belly Pan Hoist Jigs.

DOZER TRACK ROLLER REMOVING

The Caterpillar Dozer Roller tool has been developed to aid in the removal of track rollers on
CAT dozers. Equipped with forklift tyne pockets and safety chain this unit will easily fit onto
existing plant forklifts.

Workshop Tyre Handler

The Workshop Tyre Handler has been designed to provide a maintenance tool for the safe
removal and installation of tyres from a range of earth moving and plant equipment. The tool
has been developed to be used in a workshop environment and its compact design poses
minimal impact on the normal operations of a mining workshop.
This fully self contained Diesel/ Hydraulic powered, remote controlled unit will handle tyres
and rims up to 15000kg safe working load and ranging in size from 27.00 R49 to 59/80 R63
and will be a valuable asset in all mining and earthmoving workshops.

The Safe-Away Electric Ladder V Series (EL-V) has been designed to provide a simple

Without the need for the use of hydraulics, the Electric Ladder V Series is simple to install
and utilises a simple onboard control system without compromising the safety features of a
Safe-Away Access System.

released and prevents the lowering of the ladder until the park brake is set.
The actuator and battery pack are protected from damage with a cover plate.
Intelligent electronics sense any resistance to ladder motion and will stop the ladder
to prevent damage to the ladder or injury to personnel.
An integral 4 point attaching back frame provides ease of mounting to the machine
or additional platform mount.
