Canceroftheuterinecervixisthesecondmostcommoncancerinwomenworldwide.CerviSCANis
a computer assisted screening solution developed by CDAC along with the RCC, Trivandrum,
wherethedigitizedimagesofthePAPSmearareanalysedandclassifiedthroughimageprocessing
and machine learning algorithms. This software increases cytologist efficiency by premarking
samplesforpotentiallycancerous/noncancerouscases.
