Level: Advanced ,2classes /week 29 students :20 girls and 9 boys The class (45 minutes)takes place between 16.30-17.15 on Monday B. Recent work Vocabulary of taking pictures Writing essays C .Objectives 1. Warm up-Reading activity-pair work 2. Reinforce vocabulary of fashion, outfits luxury 3. Reinforce the use of adverbs 4. Express opinions about the importance of being fashionably dressed. Use as many adjectives as you can. 5. Class activity. Talk to your partner about what would you wear in each of this situations and why. 6. Homework assignment D. Objectives 1.Warm- up Reading and listening. (15 min) a. Context 1.. Read one of the following newspaper articles. Give a matching title and retell the text. ex 1 pg 109 b. Activity/ class organization: Whole class .The students read the text c. Aids: Textbook d. Language: of describing wardrobe, the life of British royalty e. Possible problems. Few students might offer to answer/read their questions .T will try to make them speak about the text. E-Objectives 2.Reinforce vocabulary of fashion, outfits, luxury (5 min) Examples: Anorak, belt, pullover, jogging suit, slippers, vest, cap, trend, canvas, to crease ,to pin, brooch, tiara, hair-band, contact lenses , leather, cotton(bumbac), wool, catwalk, modeling, ready-to-wear, fashion designer. Activity 1: Warm- up.(II.1 pg-110).

a. Context: Look at exercise 6, page 110. Complete the following with either an adjective or an adverb from the list below: early, good, already, hard, most, funny, slowly, lately, barely, badly. b. Activity/ class organization: 1. Individual work.2.Whole class: checking their own answers following Ts feedback. C .Aids: Textbooks d. language to put in brackets e .Possible problems :Students might not remember the types of adverbs. T will walk among them and offer help. G. Objective 4. Self-assess speaking about the importance of being fashionably dressed .Express opinions and use as many adjectives as you can. (20 min) H-Objective 5- Self-assess making a description of clothing (15min) Context Pair work -Talk to your partner about what would you wear in each of this situations and why: First group-at a movie theater with friends from high school Second group -hiking in the mountains for the entire day Third 3-at a job interview Forth group-at a casual party on your first date b. Possible problems: The students might not be familiar with the vocabulary. Teacher will suggest an alternative resource for documentation (the internet).
