REZUMAT
Botrytis cinerea Pers. atac peste 250 specii erbacee i arborescente fiind o ciuperc
patogen rspndit pe ntreg globul. Aceast patogen al plantelor este principalul organism
responsabil pentru putregaiul cenuiu al strugurilor, precum i al altor legume i fructe. Scopul
cercetrilor a fost observarea caracterelor morfologice i culturale ale patogenului izolat de pe
zmeur i mur precum i controlul biologic cu ajutorul extractelor hidroalcoolice din plante. n
experienele efectuate am identificat i izolat patogenul Botrytis cinerea Pers., l-am inoculat pe
trei medii de cultur (PDA, Czapek agar, MA) i am studiat caracterele morfologice i
culturale. Rezultatele obinute constau n diferene fenotipice ntre izolatele de Botrytis cinerea
Pers. la nivelul morfologiei, numrului, distribuiei scleroilor i mrimii conidiilor.
Sambucus nigra, Arctium lappa, Symphytum officinale i Calendula officinalis. Dintre extractele
testate asupra dezvoltrii coloniilor ciupercii, cel mai pronunat caracter fungistatic l-au avut
extractele de Sambucus nigra i Arctium lappa.

ABSTRACT
Botrytis cinerea Pers., attacks more than 250 herbaceous and arborescent species of
plants being a pathogen spread across the world. This plant pathogen is the main body
responsible for the occurrence of grey mould in grapes and other vegetables and fruits. The
purpose of the research aimed to observ the morphological and cultural characteristics of the
pathogen isolated from blackberry and raspberry as well as its biological control by means of
hydroalcoholic plant extracts. In our experiments we have identified and isolated the pathogen
Botrytis cinerea Pers., have inoculated it on three types of culture media (PDA, Czapek agar,
MA) and studied its morphological and cultural characteristics. The results obtained consist in
differences in the morphology, number and distribution of the sclerotia and the dimensions of the
conidia. To control the fungus by means of plant extracts, the isolates were inoculated on PDA
medium that contained the extract using the poison food technique. In order to control the fungus
Botrytis cinerea Pers., the plant extracts tested were Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Sambucus nigra,
Arctium lappa, Symphytum officinale and Calendula officinalis extracts. From the extracts tested
on the development of the fungus colonies, Sambucus nigra and Arctium lappa extracts had the
most pronounced fungistatic effect.
