Type of Crane
Single Ginder Crane

PPI Single girder cranes are the most economical

purchase for capacities up to 10 tons and 30 m.
spans.
These advantages are:
It is the most economical solution in buildings
with 30m width.
Much cheaper than a double girder model.

Double Girder Crane

PPI Double Girder Cranes are frequently used in

capacities over 10 tons and or spans of 18 m. They
have extremely high hook lift because the hook can be
pulled up between the girders.
These advantages are:
Higher lifting, since the hook can be hoisted up
between the main girders.
The box girder design suitable for heavy usage
applications.

A Frame

PPI builds a complete range of A FRAME/gantry

cranes including single girder, double girder, double
leg and single leg.
Advantages A FRAME/Gantry Cranes are:
Can be used where runway beams are not able to
be built.
Usually are used at outdoor due to space limitation
and the capacity more than 5 tons.

JIB Crane
PPI builds a complete range of JIB CRANE for indoor or outdoor used.
Advantages JIB CRANE are:
Can be used in a very constrain space where there are a lot of machinery.
Usually are used beside the machine where overhead cranes are not possible to reach.

Goods Hoist

PPI builds GOODSHOIST to hoist heavy goods

between two or more levels.
Advantages of GOODSHOIST are:
Can be used to transport heavy goods like raw
material/material from ground floor to second or
third floor.
Usually are used at in shops such like restaurants,
car spare parts dealers, light shops supplier and etc.

Our Services
Registration For The Certificate Of Fitness/ PMA For The Crane
Please be informed that all the hoist / cranes using electricity are needed to register with Department Of
Occupational Safety And Health [ DOSH ] OR Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (JKKP).
PPI assists customers to have their crane/cranes register. Once the crane/cranes are registered with
DOSH/JKKP.The Certificate Of Fitness[ PMA ] on the crane/ cranes will be issued to the customer.
The Certificate Of Fitness for the crane will expire every 15 months. Is the responsibility of the owner
the get their cranes serviced before the expiry.
If the machine is not in tip top condition DOSH/ JKKP will have the right not to renew the Certificate
Of Fitness [ PMA ] for the cranes.

STEPS TO REGISTER THE JIB CRANE/CRANE/MONORAIL BELOW 4 TON.

Prepare and submit full set of document for new PMA Licence registration. ( Jib-crane/crane/monorail)
Job scope: To prepare drawing and calculation for the jib crane/crane/monorail.
To send the drawing and calculation for PE endorsement.
To send the drawing and calculation to JKKP STATE OFFICE
To arrange the JKKP officer to site and inspect the jib-crane/crane/monorail.
To follow-up with JKKP officer for the PMA licence.

TON.

Job scope:

To send the drawing and calculation to Putrajaya for design approval.
To send the drawing and calculation to JKKP STATE OFFICE.
To arrange the JKKP officer to site and inspect the jib crane/crane/monorail.
To follow-up with JKKP officer for the PMA licence.

Install Crane

PPI provides manpower to install new/old cranes for

customers in Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.
PPI with good network, PPI are able to repair most
of the brands of cranes. Example: DEMAG,
KONECRANE, STAHL, HITACHI, KITO,
MISIA and etc.

Modification & Relocation Crane

PPI provides service to do modification & relocation of

Cranes.PPI have the expertise to downgrade & upgrade
the capacity of the existing cranes with proper
modification in terms of the safety aspects. After the
modification, new sets of documents will be submitted to
JKKP/DOSH for new approval on the modified crane.
During the load test, the officer from JKKP/DOSH will
witness the test. After the load test, the new JKKP/ PMA
license will be issue to the crane owner.

Buy & Sell Recond Crane

PPI do buy & sell re-condition crane to customer who

has limited budget.PPI will make sure units we
purchase does have the hoists certificate from the
manufacturer as it is part of the document requires by
JKKP/DOSH for PMA registration.

Load Test

PPI provide load testing up to 100 ton. The steps in

the load test are equivalent to the requirement by
JKKP/ DOSH.
