MANUAL OF DESCRIPTION & OPERATION FOR I & C FOR CONDENSATE POLISHING UNIT

panel/control box as 240VAC and/or 24VDC /48VDC are supplied by power panel.
Two-line power supply is supplied to power panel. Power supply is redundant. The
size of power panel is 800 x 600 x 2200 (width x depth x height). More details at
outline of control/board which Draw. No. is CS09135-00-07-00
operator computer
Flow of CPP is showed on the MMI of operator computer. Various devices and pipes
for condensate polishing plant showed on diagram are presented by variety of graphic
symbols with pushbuttons and color lines. As device running or open, indicator lights
to red. Device stop or closed, indicator lights to green. System alarm windows are
display in the computer. Include mixed bed system of unit 1 & unit 2, regeneration
system of unit 1 and 2. & sampling analyse system , feeding ammonia system .all
control instrument is showed on the MMI of operator computer. Control, operation
and supervision of parameters can be realized via the MMI of operator computer.
1.2.2 Local solenoid box
A number of solenoid boxes are used to control all valves in condensate polishing
plant. Control signals from PLC panel are sent to solenoid box in used for control
solenoid. It is electric-pneumatic conversion box, all pneumatic valves in CPP are
controlled by solenoid. Some pushbuttons are installed on box for manual control.
10 sets solenoid box are supplied as follows:
Solenoid box for No.1 mixed bed of unit 1
Solenoid box for No.2 mixed bed of unit 1
Solenoid box for pipeline valves of unit 1
Solenoid box for No.1 mixed bed of unit 2
Solenoid box for No.2 mixed bed of unit 2
Solenoid box for pipeline valves of unit 2
Solenoid box for resin separation vessel
Solenoid box for anion regeneration vessel
Solenoid box for cation regeneration & storage
Solenoid box for other valves of regeneration system
1.2.3 Sample analyse panels & meters panels
3 sets of Sample Analyse panels & meters panels are supplied as follows:
Sample analyse panels & meters panels of unit 1
Sample analyse panels & meters panels of unit 2
meters panels of regeneration system
water sampling from No.1 mixed bed outlet and No.2 mixed bed outlet and
coagulation outlet to Sample Analyse panel. Natrium analyzer/ conductivity analyzer/
SiO2 analyzer in it. The signal export to meters panels. Export date showing on the
meters panels, and these measured results are sent to PLC panels with 4-20mA signal.
1.2 Recycle water pump
The operation modes for pump include local control, remote control of manual and
auto control with PLC. Manual control (local) is completed with pushbuttons and
switches installed MCC. Manual control (remote) is completed with pushbuttons on
MMI and the switches installed MCC must to remote. Auto control is completed by
PLC. There is a local/remote changeover on MCC. As switched to local control, it is

started and stopped when used pushbuttons. As switched to remote control of MCC
and at manual state on MMI, recycle water pump is started or stopped with
pushbuttons and switches on MMI. Control for CPP is switched to auto state, the
recycle water pump is started and stopped automatically to depend on system control
requirement. Auto control for recycle water pump is shown on list of control flow.
1.3 Regeneration water pump
The operation modes for regeneration water pump include local control, remote
control with manual and auto control with PLC. Manual control (remote) is completed
with pushbuttons on MMI and the switches installed MCC must to remote. Auto
control is completed by PLC. There is a local/remote changeover on MCC As
switched to local control, regeneration water pump is started and stopped used
pushbuttons. As switched to remote control on MCC and switched to manual state on
MMI, regeneration water pump is started or stopped with pushbuttons and switches
on MMI. Control system is switched Auto State, the regeneration water pump is
started and stopped automatically to depend on system control requirement. There are
2 sets regeneration water pumps, 1 set operate, 1 set spare and 2 sets pumps are
interlocked. Auto control for regeneration water pump is shown on list of control
follow.
1.5 Roots blowers
The operation modes for roots blowers include local control, remote control with
manual and auto control with PLC. Manual control (remote) is completed with
pushbuttons on MMI and the switches installed MCC must to remote. Auto control is
completed by PLC. There is a local/remote changeover on MCC. As switched to local
control, roots blowers are started & stopped used pushbuttons and switch on the
MCC. As switched to remote control on MCC and switched to manual state on MMI,
it is started & stopped with pushbuttons on MMI. Control system is switched to auto
state; it is started & stopped automatically to depend on system control requirement.
There are tow sets roots blowers, blower A is operate blower & blower B is spare
blower. Blowers A & B is interlocked. Auto control for roots blowers is shown on list
of control flow.
2.4 Valves on mixed bed for CPP
There are 2 set mixed beds for each unit. Each mixed bed includes many valves as
follow:

Outlet valve & Inlet valve are electric action valve and Outlet sample valve is
solenoid. Other valves are pneumatic valves.
The operation modes for all valves include local control, remote control by manual
and auto control with PLC.
Manual control (local/remote) is completed with pushbuttons and switches on MMI
or/and local control box (solenoid box). This is a local/remote changeover on local
control box for valves. As switched to local state, these valves are opened or closed
with pushbuttons and switches on local control box. As switched to remote state and
switched to manual state on MMI, it is opened or closed with pushbuttons and
switches on MMI. Control for CPP is switched to auto state; it is controlled
automatically to depend on system control requirement. Auto control for valves is
shown on list of control flow.
2.5 Pipe valves for CPP
Pipe valves for each unit are included as following:
Recycle pump outlet valve (10LDF73AA001/20LDF73AA001)
Wash king valve (10LDF75AA001/20LDF75AA001)
Resin outlet king valve (10LDF77AA001/20LDF77AA001)
Resin inlet king valve (10LDF78AA001/20LDF78AA001)
Overflow valve A(10LDF79AA001/20LDF79AA001)
Overflow valve B(10LDF80AA001/20LDF80AA001)
Regeneration bypass valve (10LDF74AA001/20LDF74AA001)
Alarm bypass valve (10LDF74AA002/20LDF74AA002)

Regeneration bypass valve & Alarm bypass valve are electric action valve and Outlet
sample valve is solenoid. Other valves are pneumatic valves.

2.6 Valves for resin separation vessel
Valves for resin separation vessel are included as following:

Back wash influent valve A (00LDP74AA005)

with pushbuttons and switches on local control box. As switched to remote state and
switched to manual state on MMI, it is opened or closed with pushbuttons and
switches on MMI. Control for CPP is switched to auto state, it is controlled
automatically to depend on system control requirement. Auto control for valves is
shown on list of control flow.
3 Settings for system parameters
Settings for system parameter according to list of operation parameters are completed
on MMI with mouse and keyboard. System parameters include operation and alarm
parameters.
4. Parameters display for system operation
All Parameters & control date can showing on MMI. The dates include setting Parameters/alarm
dates/running dates. Operator can see abort all these date for 100 days.
