Experience
Born in 1978, Sifu Justin has been training in the Chinese Qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine and
Gongfu to strengthen his mind, body, and spirit as a part of his life culture since he was a small child. It
is as natural to his being as breathing is to life. His goal is to spread the knowledge of the ancient arts of
Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine to our generation and the next. In order to do this, he
promotes the integration of both the eastern and the western philosophies in a way that is modern and
demystified. By the synthesis of the two philosophies he is able to show others how their health and
well being are improved by using traditional concepts while still maintaining the active life of the
contemporary individual.
For 10 years, Sifu Justin has worked extensively in Information Technology, as a technical developer,
technical architect, and as a consultant. It is here that he learned the pressures and strain of the world
of business, and what it can do to a persons health. During his professional technology career he
noticed a correlation between the deterioration of health and occupational advancement in the
workplace. This paralleled with a slope of unhappiness. As his health was not affected by the constant
stress or change, more and more of his associates wondered why. This gave birth to Sifu Justin
explaining and teaching Qigong on his lunch hours, in between hours, and in his spare time.
Soon afterwards, Sifu Justin decided to leave his distinguished career as a technology consultant to
pursue Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine full time. He treats patients at his clinic with
Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Medical Qigong on a regular basis. He also teaches
Qigong and Gongfu, both of which are based on health and wellness. As a practice of using what he

teaches, he continues to explore new arts such as painting, dance, and music. He not only believes, but
also shows through his lifestyle that with Qigong, anything can be possible. He also regularly conducts
consultations and life coaching engagements in conjunction with his holistic practice.
Through his Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic, he has been able to provide successful therapy to many
individuals from all over Canada, and around the world. Some of his humanitarian efforts include
travelling to Haiti to provide therapy to those in need, and help with the relief effort.
Through the past several years, Sifu Justin has organized countless sold out events that demonstrate the
power and magnitude of Qigong and Chinese Martial Arts. He is now the president of the first ever
Canadian World Congress for Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sifu Justin is partnered in this
event with a member of the White House Commission on Complimentary and Alternative Medicine.

Here Justin will explore the history of Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We start at 206 B.C. and
explain how Qigong evolved in China and parts of India. He explains some of the politics involved in its
origins and why it has always been so secretive.
The discussion will open specifically two of the main theories of Qigong. For each one we will dive into
detail and demystify it by translating it into modern applications and tangible, relevant instances.
Sifu Justin will tackle the concept of Qi as it was described in ancient texts, and translate it to
contemporary understandings of energy, vitality and health.
He will look at the secrets revealing why Qigong is so effective as a therapy, and how it has been
practiced traditionally amongst the Chinese population from ancient to modern times.
The subject matter will conclude with simple and effective beginner-level exercises:

Technological innovations have put the human race on the fastest track it has ever been on. Knowing
anything means that what you know will be out-of-date by the time you know it. How do we as humans
deal with the life we have now when it is fleeting? Are we really comfortable in our own skin? Is the
grass really greener on the other side or is the other side really our side? Questions like these and many
more constant plague us in our daily lives, and our answer is usually the same what can I do as a single
person to effect change in my life?
With Qigong Sifu Justin will explain how to change your perspective using that of a traditional eastern
philosophy with time honoured principles that the Chinese have used from hundreds of years. We will
discuss Qigong philosophies and fundamental principles to encourage the Qi to flow in a direction
consistent with the lifestyle you desire.
We will discuss how the integration and not the segregation of philosophies and methodologies can lead
to a harmonious balance of health, wealth and spirituality.

The workplace of today is much different than it used to be. Because of the availability of information,

Through many years in the corporate environment, Sifu Justin has gained valuable insight into the world
of business, including its highs and its lows. He has seen firsthand the emotions, desires, and wilfulness
that can lead to a path of despair for one person and a path of success for another. What makes the
difference between individuals in a western sense is the ability to cope and manage stress. But how do
we achieve that ability? In the traditional Chinese methodology, the secret lies in cultivating the energy
(Qi) found in the emotions, in the mind, and in the physical body.
To eliminate stress, Sifu Justin believes that it is important to tackle the emotional, mental and physical
aspects holistically. He provides the tools needed to eliminate negative stress and retain positive stress.
He teaches that anyone can do it, armed with nothing more than the mind and body.

In this martial arts-oriented workshop, we demonstrate just how powerful Chinese Qigong, Traditional
Chinese Medicine and the Mind can be. Sifu Justin will go over a few basic axioms and principles that are
the foundation of energy flow within the body and the mind. You will be able to see firsthand how
opening up your mind can release your stored potential.
He will dive into the meat of the art, and show you how you can practice the principles on your own.
Sifu Justin will also teach you techniques you can use to open your mind, to allow you to train harder,
live better and heal faster. He will teach formerly secretive techniques, now modernized to fit it into our
busy fast-paced lives.

ExpectantMothersWorkshop

All expectant mothers know that its more difficult to continue the day-to-day activities when you're
caring for two (or more) instead of just yourself. All the things you do are enhanced by what feels like a
factor of 10 because of the stress your body is going through. Well, it doesn't have to be that bad at all.
We can do exercises specifically geared for mothers who have limited mobility and time. Its a modern
way to improve yourself, and improve the health of your unborn child. The exercises are really easy to
do, and take as little as 5 minutes a day!

Sifu Justin's rates for non-profit groups are as follows:
Local events:
$1,000 per topic
$2,500 per day (up to 3 topics/workshops within 8 hrs)
Out of town events:
$2,000 per topic (plus all traveling expenses)
$3,500 per day (up to 3 topics/workshops within 8 hrs plus all traveling expenses)
