Receiving the Word of God

SCRIPTURE READING

Isaiah 6:1-8, John 3:16-21

For the people of God, this is the Word of God.

Thanks be to God.
And may the words of my mouth,

And the meditations of our hearts,

be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, our strength, and our redeemer.

PRAYER

THE LORDS PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
