Comparison between Public Sector & Private


Sector Bank in India
Statement of the Problem:
For getting the better revenue & profit and to ensure to provide the services to more customers,
Private sector bank has to provide more facilities compare to public sector bank as Public
sector banks has maximum holding by government. The project includes comparison between
the Public Sector & Private Sector Bank which would help to understand various aspect of this
of this two sector banks &how the private sector Bank creating competition for the Public sector
Bank. And also we are overcome to know step which are taken by the Public sector Bank to
face the challenges of the Private Sector Bank.

Problems of Measuring Comparison

The performance and the roles of private and public sector banks are undergoing
changes. The banks, both private as well as public have to now operate in an
increasingly competitive environment. The customer centric approach of private sector
banks have thrown open many more challenges for the public sector banks private

The project includes comparison between the Public Sector & Private Sector Bank which
would help to understand various aspect of this of this two sector banks &how the
private sector Bank creating competition for the Public sector Bank. And also we are
overcome to know step which are taken by the Public sector Bank to face the challenges
of the Private Sector Bank.

WHY IS THIS TOPIC CHOOSEN:


I am working in Banking sector (In Private bank) and facing so many issues with Public banks,
so the study will help me to compare the same with public sector & provide the benefits to
customer by provide more services than public sectors.

WHAT CONTRIBUTION WOULD THE PROJECT MAKE


AND TO WHOM:
Result of my survey and analysis would provide a very useful input to the management of
DEUTSCHE BANK. They have welcomed my effort and are looking forward to collecting all
available data in this respect for examining the problem in totality.

Objective:
Private sector banks came into existence to supplement the performance of Public sector banks
and serve the needs of the economy better.

To understand various factors that affect preference of consumers while selecting the banks

Critical factors responsible for the success of private sector against public sectors.

Scope:
Business acquisition/demand generation, which can include metrics such as market share
gains, lead acquisition and deal flow.

Product innovation/acceptance, which can include market adoption rates, user attachment and
affinity, loyalty and word-of-mouth.

Corporate image and brand identity, which can include growth in brand value and financial
equity, awareness and retention of employees.

Corporate vision and leadership, which can include share of voice and discussion, retention and
relevance of messaging, and tonality of coverage

METHODOLOGY:
Once you've Comparing public sector vs private sector, you'll naturally want to do some followup to measure the success of the project. Whether the introduction is ultimately successful or
not, you need to be able to learn from the process to achieve more success down the line.
