The natives father approached with his sons horoscope the chart of which is
given below:
Look at Annexure for charts and planetary as well as cuspal positions
One should check up whether the marriage is promised or not from the 7 th cusp. The
sub lord of 7th cusp will only decide the issue of marriage through its star lord and
sub lord. Here Rahu shows 1,7 and 10 through itself and through star and sub it
signifies 4,8,12.
Rahu signifies marriage and also other houses which are
unfavourable to the marriage.
At the time of birth, the native was running Mars Dasa for 28 days. Next Rahu dasa
started. As Rahu dasa is completed before the age of 20, I ignore Rahu for fixing
the marriage. Then Jupiter dasa will be starting from 02-09-1993.
Jupiter from the above table, signifies 3,9 and 2. Jupiter refers to 3 and 9 which are
favourable houses but it also shows 2 which is unfavourable for conducting
marriage. If bhukthi/ anthra/ sookshma opposes the house no 2, the native can have
the marriage. I ignore Saturn bhukthi as Saturn is not showing favourable houses for
marriage. Mercury shows 5,8,11. While 5 and 11 are required for marriage, the 8 th
signification will hinder the marriage.
Mercury is signifying 5 and 11(important
houses for marriage) and hence I will fix Mercury anthra itself. From the study of
above table, one can note that Rahu signifies 1,7,10 along with other unfavourable
houses. Rahu is the sub lord of Saturn. Hence we select Saturn Sookshma. The
native will be running Jupiter-Mercury-Mercury-Saturn from 10th Aug 1998 to 28 th
August 1998. The marriage will be performed during this period.
Now we shall revert to Gochara effects during the period. Jupiter dasanatha is
transiting in its own star and Rahu sub from 11 th Aug 1998. Turning to Mercury
during this period, it is transiting in its own star and sub of sun till 25 th Aug 1998. I
prefer Moon sub lord for Mercury as it shows 12 (from 7 th it means 5) and Mercury
moves to moon sub lord on 25 th August 1998. So the marriage can be celebrated
between 25th August 1998 and 28th August 1998.
Actual Result: The marriage was celebrated on 28 th August 1998.
