1. Working as a HOD(UG) in the Department of Textile Marketing &
Management at S.S.M. Institute of Textile Technology & Polytechnic
College for the past 3 years with a total Experience of 29 years in
Teaching.
2. Have worked as a Media Executive with Dinamalar, the Leading Tamil
News Paper for 3 years since 1982, where, dealing with Circulation,
Advertisements from Leading Advertising Agencies in Indias
Metropolitan Cities were my assignment.
3. Was the Staff Advisor for Rotaract Club between 1996 & 2004, which
was the World Largest Membership Club with societal bending of
mind.
4. Right now the Staff Advisor for the yet another social service club, Apex
Clubs of SSM Tech which has got 1000 members, proving to be the
world largest club.

5. Have co-authored a text book for 7 Diploma courses with

Prof.R.Muthusamy entitled as Management In Textiles since 2004.
6. Have co-authored a text book for Diploma in Textile Technology with
Prof.P.S.Ravichandran, R. Narashimhan entitled as Textile
Marketing & Mechandising since 2004.
7. Have co-authored a text book for 7 Diploma courses with
Prof.R.Muthusamy

8. Have served as Deputy Warden for 11 years & 9 Months in the Institute
Hostel with a maximum Strength of 380 plus students.

Served for 19 years & 3 Months reaching the top rank of Major with 115
training camps all over India out of which I was the Deputy Commander
to win 3 Times State Championship & One Time the Republic Day
Camp National Championship in 2003.
10.Was the Students Service Coordinator for four years under Canada
India Institutional Cooperation Project & right now serving as the
Process Champion with the same outfit.
11.Have compiled a work book on SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM since 2003 and offering Training for final year students and
young executives of export firms.
12.Have been Working as the Public Relations Officer for the institution
to Report and publish News Items in Print, Telecast Media for the 15 &
more years.

16.Working as the Co- Editor for the quarterly News Letter since 2005
AHEAD of the Institution and working as Editorial Coordinator for
the Hostel Students Magazine Tech Post for the past 2 Decades.

Universities and have guided more than 95 MBA Students for their Final
Semester Marketing Research Project Works.
18.Have been an active Blood Donation Organiser and have organized
Donation of more than 7000 units of Blood in the past 20 years.
19.Have worked as the Flying Squad Member to Regulate the Government
Board examinations for 14 years under various Squad Chiefs to regulate
the Exams in as many as 15 to 35 polytechnic colleges since 1987.

20.Have been awarded 64 times the 100% Result Achiever certificate in

various management subjects handled by me, viz, Principles Of
Management, Marketing Management, Export Management,
Advertising Sales Promotion, Human Resource Management, Textile
Marketing & Merchandising since 1991 by the Management of our
Institution.
21.Have guided students of 2006-2007 for 14 state and National level
competitive paper presentations and they have won 4 state first prizes and
two National second prizes.
22.For the past 3 years guiding and organizing Short Film Making talents
for the final year students have taken much of my interests.
PERSONAL PROFILE
1. Second son of Teacher Parents, elder brother working as General
Manager Production, younger brother working as CAAD designer with
ABB at Saudi Arabia for the past two decades. Younger sister working as
PG asst in Govt School, all married.
2. Got married to Dr. S.Kalaimagal MA, Mphil, M.Ed. Phd, working as
the Principal in a local group of college of education.
3. Blessed with a daughter, Jyotsna BE (ECE),placed in Meltronics
Bangalore recently and a son Sakthimurugu studying in First year
BE(ECE).

HOBBIES AND INTEREST
1.
Reading contemporary writing of all the prize winning authors and
maintaining a Personal Library with up dated additions

Listening to classical music, Playing Club standard Tennis and
