A. Preparatory Activities
1. Review
a. Introduce yourself to your classmates. Use the following
questions as guide.

When is your birthday?
What is your favorite subject? Why?

THIS CONVERSATION MAKES ME HUNGRY!


At recess timeCELY:

Hey, Andy, have you tried the pancit that Aling Tina
cooks?
ANDY:
Oh, yes. My brother and I often eat at Aling Tinas
restaurant. We also order some barbecue. It is surely
delicious!
DANNY: My Dad and I ate at Angustias last month. The lechon
tasted great!
NANCY: Hey, talking about lechon, we just had that yesterday.
It was our town fiesta and we had guests at home. We
bought some lechon from Aling Nadias.
DANNY: Hey, Ernie, is that your snack for today? That slice of
cake looks yummy.
ERNIE: It was my twin sisters birthday yesterday. My mom
baked a two-layered chocolate cake for them. Would
you like to have some?
DANNY: Thanks. Why dont we all go to the canteen and buy
our snacks? This conversation is making all of us
hungry!

Oooh, Ate Nancy, Im so-o-o-tired!


Me, too, Ate. We looked everywhere for fathers gift,
but we didnt find any.
NANCY: I know, Andy. Every shirt was as common as the other.
DANNY: I really thought that the yellow shirt was nice. The cloth
was as soft as cotton.
ANDY:
But, Kuya, it was the most expensive of all.
DANNY: Yes, but remember, we agreed that we would give father
something special.
