Strategy
Baliuag University High School aims to provide its students a well
balanced education that will help them in the pursuit of either college or
vocational course, and to develop the students into mature and responsible
Filipino and world citizens.
The school makes sure that all aspects of the students will be
developed: mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The faculty uses
different teaching techniques to make sure that what they are teaching was
absorbed and understood by the students.
increasing need in the use of technology: all computer units in the library are
internet-connected, Integrated Learning System (ILS) is used in teaching
English, Science and Math, and in teaching Computer subject Techfactors
software is also used.
Structure
The government of the Baliuag University is vested in the Board of
Trustees. All corporate powers of the University are exercised, and its
business, property and affairs are administered by it.
The President of the BU is the highest administrative officer of the
University, elected by and responsible to the Board for its direction and
operation. The president is assisted in her responsibilities to establish,
maintain and promote quality instruction by the Vice President for Academic
Affairs, deans and heads of the various colleges, the principals of the high
school and grade school, and the heads of the offices concerned with
admissions, registration, guidance and counseling, library, laboratories,
student affairs, physical education and National Service Training Program.
In the administration of non-academic matters and affairs, and the
enforcement of policies governing all business operations, the President is
supported by the Vice President for Administration and Vice President for
Finance assisted by the heads of departments attending to accounting,
finance, personnel, security, plant maintenance and construction. (Exhibit 4

The University High School is under the direct supervision or authority
of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. All activities, request for seminars
and other concerns with regards to academic require permission or
recommendation from the VPAA and approval of the President. All
transactions are centralized, from budgeting, request of purchase & printing,
use of vehicles and facilities, collection and release of funds require
permission from the President or functional unit heads to assure the proper
use of companys resources. (Exhibit 5 shows the organizational chart of

Systems
The faculty and staff in the Baliuag University High School work with
regards to the companys policies and procedure and the curriculum is based
on DepEd standard.
The school has Management Information System that handles and
ensures the computerized enrollment system in the Registrars Office as well
as the financial transaction in the Finance Office; the Accounting Office also
uses information system in generating employees payroll and also the
revenue report of the school in terms of enrollment.
All positions in the University are documented through Job Descriptions
that indicate the general as well as specific functions and duties of the jobs.
The job Descriptions are provided in the Administrative handbook.
With regards to performance appraisal, it is conducted by the
immediate supervisors to review a non-teaching employees performance
and determine the employees strengths, weaknesses and improvement
needs. On this basis, each supervisor takes appropriate action to provide
opportunities which will best utilize the employees strength and to stimulate
his improvement and development.
It is the policy of the University to grant promotions to more
responsible positions from within the University. Promotions are based
primarily upon merit, competence, ability; previous job assignments,
performance history and participation in University and Community service
are taken into account.
Skills
Faculty members are assigned in their field of expertise in teaching
and are all board passers. Majority of them are enrolled or have units in the
graduate program to continually improve themselves professionally.
