Users shall inspect all ladders before use
Ensure ladder extend a minimum of 1m.(3ft) above
the landing platform.
Do not use defective or greasy ladder.
Only one person shall be on ladder at a time
Do not use temporary work platform, such as
scaffold, to support a ladder.

Modification

Personnel Falling

All employees shall be protected by the use of


personnel fall arrester system. (Use Full Body
Harness)
When climbing up or down the ladder, face the
ladder and maintain 3 points of contact with hands
free of material.
Use chainstrap for hard hat to prevent falling helmet.
Use rubber coated gloves.
Use lanyard to a vertical & horizontal lifeline or
scaffold structural member.
Hands to be always clear from pinch points.
If the scaffold is incomplete, put Red Tag.
Do not use scaffold if there is Red Tag.
Only competent scaffold workers should erect &
modify scaffold.

Certified scaffolding supervisor shall be provide

Certified scaffolding Inspector should do inspection
and insert the Green Tag and fill the checklist
properly.
