I am a self motivated and diverse person possessing knowledge and three years of working
experience in banking sector whilst working with top world banks in UK. My excellent academic
background and work experience has developed my strong sales, customer services and managerial skills.
I have developed a high standard of professionalism in myself through my experience within commercial
environments. I possess excellent problem solving skills as I have a strong mathematical background. I
have developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills while working in highly competitive
environments.

Financial Sales Consultant /Mortgages
I am currently working with HSBC UK as a mortgages consultant in a highly regulated and competitive
environment. I am successfully achieving and exceeding my sales, cross sales, procedural, and compliance
targets. Being a tide agent my role includes processing residential mortgages from a limited rang of HSBC
mortgage product on non advised basis. Whilst doing this the role includes treating customers fairly
according to the guide lines of Financial Services Authority UK and Bank’s own procedures and
compliance. The role also involves maintaining world class customer services standards, this is
demonstrated through extensive product knowledge to answer any questions customer may ask and by
matching banks other products like protections, savings and investments.
The role involves liaising with other departments of the bank which highlights my ability to communicate
on all levels and provide a seamless service to the customers.
I actively aim to achieve my individual targets as well as contributing to the team’s overall performance.
On a daily basis I always monitor the team’s statistics for that day so I am constantly aware of how well
the team is performing and so that I know what I need to achieve in order to help the team achieve its
targets.
As a proactive team player I also keep the team informed and updated of individual and collective
performances in order to drive sales and keep everyone motivated.
As a part of personal development I also conduct team huddles once a week in which I discuss
performance and any issues that have arisen. To motivate the team and drive performance I carry out
regular energizers.
I always relay any communications that is required for that day or week. I also share best practices with
the team in huddles and buzz sessions influencing their performances and helping them with their sales
techniques.
In my role as Mortgages Consultant I strive to achieve and exceed my daily targets in respect of the points
I need and the other sales which I need to be converting at the right levels.
In my time in HSBC Group I have achieved my bonus in every quarter and met the stretch targets.

I worked with RBS/NATWEST as a customer advisor in a fast paced sales environment where I was
constantly achieving my sales targets. My role included reviewing the customers' accounts to identify
sales opportunities and to match one of the banks products to the customers need. Whilst doing this, the
role included offering outstanding customer service at all times. This includes answering any queries the
customer may have whilst gathering information from the customers to understand their need. The job also
required an excellent level of product knowledge which is demonstrated through consistent compliance
and sales.
