World Energy USA: President, Newport Beach, CA (2012-Present)
Led the strategic planning and operations for the World Energy Center (WEC), a $5.5 billion 17,500 acre,
1,500 megawatt mixed use real estate development and clean energy center. Created the collaborative
structure and innovative phasing plan that integrates the testing and demonstration of new generation
technologies with storage, smart-grid and large utility scale solar projects. The WEC consortium consists of
more than 20 of the worlds largest corporations and leading solar technology companies such as Lockheed
Martin and Boeing. The collective team employs more than 1 million people and generates annual
revenues in excess of $500 billion. The WEC is a model for ecological restoration and conservation.
Starpoint Solar: President, Newport Beach, CA (2008-2011)
Solar Technology, Efficiency, Sustainability and Storage. Directed the companys strategic planning and
evolved the solar technology start-up into a diversified solar energy and development company. Led
feasibility studies and project cost analysis across the entire solar energy spectrum including PV, Thin-Film,
Dish Stirling, CPV and CSP technologies. Applied for DOE/DOD grants. Established the route-to-market
pathways, identified key customers and allocated appropriate levels of R&D investment.
InVicta Companies: President, Atlanta, GA (2003-2005)
Directed a diversified portfolio of luxury real estate and resort properties with national golf, sports and
entertainment benefits. Secured marketing alliances with numerous high-profile entities such as CIBC,
Citibank and Carlson Marketing. Managed the creation of the World Scramble Championship, one of the
largest team amateur golf tournaments along with several world-class entertainment events including
black tie charity galas.
Capital Pacific Holdings (CPH): Managing Director, Newport Beach, CA (2001-2002)
Publicly traded real estate investment company that developed numerous projects including the St. Regis
Hotel and Resort. Directed the planning of a private equity fund focused on real estate investment and
development opportunities. Sourced and evaluated projects and institutional investors
Golf Trust of America: Founder, Executive Vice President/CFO Charleston, SC (1994-2000)
Created and took public the $650 million publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) specializing in
upscale golf and resort properties. Created the innovative structure, navigated the start-up company
through its successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) and subsequently grew it to become the third largest golf
course ownership group in the world. Structured more than 35 partnerships, acquisitions and operating
alliances, secured venture capital funding and directed the drafting of the S-11 public offering prospectus.
Developed and led the Companys road show presentation that delivered an IPO that was 6 times
oversubscribed. Oversaw the assimilation, management, accounting and operations and financial
forecasting for more than 50 properties. Managed investor and board relations. Earnings per share
increased 82% in just two years ranking it as one of the best performing publicly traded REITS. The
President of Golf Trust received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award.

Inland Group: VP Finance & Consultant, Newport Beach, CA (1995-2015)


Leading real estate, infrastructure and political advisor in California. Served in a variety of finance and
consulting capacities. Specialized in financial underwriting, market analysis, strategic partnerships and the
EB5 investor visa program. Numerous marquee projects include the $850 million Worldwide Power Plant
of the Year by Power Magazine.
Northgate Forest Holdings: Vice President/CFO, Houston, TX (1984-1994)
Texas and California real estate developer. Supervised development, investment, accounting, budgeting
and management operations for master-planned communities, hotels, offices, multi-family, single family,
golf courses and resorts. Projects included $400 million luxury golf community, 2,500 multi-family units
and a Las Vegas hotel reposition and renovation. Land developments included the acquisition, entitlement
processing, repositioning and disposition of numerous projects ranging from 100 acres to more than 8,000
acres. Successfully secured general plan amendments, zone changes, development plans, referendums,
tentative/final maps, development agreements and other regulatory requirements. Issued tax exempt
bonds and developed detailed financial pro formas and forecasting models utilizing IRR, FMRR, MIRR, PV,
FV, and discounted cash flow analysis.

Education and Personal


B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri with a Double Major in Marketing
and Finance. Former licensed Series 7 & Series 63 representative with the National Association of Securities
Dealers (NASD) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Married with three children.
College football team captain. Pop Warner youth football coach and actively compete in golf and tennis.
