After gathering the necessary information, the researcher therefore concluded that

there are factors that which can affect children and how they adapt to a new environment as they faced
the kindergarten years. The researchers concluded that child must be ready to enter formal schooling with
the help of their parents. The parents should guide properly and give enough attention In order to meet
the needs of the child and also to prevent tantrums. The teacher should be responsible in handling
emotion of his/her pupil, should be compassionate on his/her work. Even though tantrums nowadays are
minimal, (in the age range of 4-7yrs. old) we must prevent tantrums to happen.
Before, tantrums happened because children thought that to be in school was boring
and teachers are monsters and they are not used to socialize and interact with others. So educators
must give their pupils interactive materials such as toys, for them to keep interested and felt alive and
colorful materials indifferent shape inside the classroom. The researcher concluded the child should
attend or given a summer classes in order to prepare him in entering to a new environment therein his
abilities and skills will enhanced and develop.
As the final conclusion, parent and teachers are the one who need an advice in
handling children. The teacher should stand as a second parent in school, behind the development of
children in terms on their academic performance and lastly, their parents should give their children
positive stories about school, like, they can have new friends.

As for the summary, the gathered information was compared in order to get the factors that
can affect tantrums on children. These can help parents to handle their children that experience tantrums.
The teachers were also involved with this kind of issue because they are the one who accompanied the
children, when they are with their parents.
In this situation, we found out that one of the reason why children cant control their
emotions, its because they are not used to interact with other people and new environment, which can
newly introduce to them. They want also their parent to be with their side at all time, together with their
siblings and their playmates instead of their playmates instead of their classmates.
The possible things that teachers need to do is give the child interesting activities that the
child can interact. The teacher should be using interactive materials, such as toys. And teacher should
teach good ethics and good ways in handling tantrums.

1. The factors that may affect the kindergarten pupils are they were still not yet ready or not
prepared to go to school, and they are afraid of being left to school by their parents. Thus, there is
what we called the law of readiness which means hat when the children are not yet ready on
doing something, they will not become happy on their entire years of schooling.
2. I havent experience the worst case of tantrums but I usually handled severe type of tantrums.
3. Yes, everyday.
4. Usually parents need to cooperate with teachers because the problem cant be resolved without
their consultation with us. For us to know the background of the children. So that we can handle
them on the way the child needed.
5. I think 3-4 years of age.
6. Maybe, because I think their too young, so its normal for them to have tantrums theyre because
of their afraid on school matter so the only way for them to overcome their peer pressure is to
have playmates on school.
7. Yes, but only moderate and I can still handle.
8. If parent can afford the therapy and medical needs of the child like consulting to psychologist and
cooperation of the parents.
9. Dont tolerate because the child may think that your attention are focused on them only. They
should learn how to be independent.
10. As a concern citizen, they need to undergo counseling.

SCOPES AND LIMITATIONS

OBJECTIVES:
To be able to determine the causes and the effect of tantrums of children in the kindergarten
level.

LOCATION OF THE STUDY:


First, we went to the DEPEd Division of Pasig, to ask permission to interview the teacher
concerned in Nagpayong Elementary School, so that we can gather data from the
coordinator responsible for the kindergarten pupils.
No. of Respondents: 5 teachers and 1 coordinator of Kindergarten Department.
