An improved effective technology is used for production of a three-layer monolithic sheathing with carrying layers of a polyether glass syntactic foam made by way of layer-by-layer molding or of preliminary produced rough parts.
The polyether glass plastic is environmentally safe, ensures habitability conditions; it is almost inflammable, with a low speed of the flame propagation over the surface (calorimetry coefficient K

MAX

= 0.6; index of flame propagation I = 12).

Strength and elastic characteristics of the three-layer glass syntactic foam having a density of 0.98 g/cm meet up-to-date requirements to structural materials of the ship and the vessel skins.
This syntactic foam is rated at usage in the air and aqueous medium in the temperature range of (-) 40 to (+) 60C. It has taken the place of valuable types of wood and expensive power consuming low-magnetic steels, aluminum-magnesium alloys.
Technologically effective structure of a hull with a small number of framework beams which provides for simplification of building methods at maintaining a high level of strength and serviceability. Increased transversal and impact strength as compared to a
three-layer glass plastic with a middle layer of PHV.
