Baptism Preparation: This Wednesday, July 8th at 7.30pm Gathering Space
St Annes Purnim: Celebrating 11 years of Assembly of Word and Communion
today. Congratulations to the community for their commitment and faithfulness.
Childrens Liturgy: Today at 6.00pm Mass. Activity bags for preschool children are
also available at all Masses and can be obtained from the Welcomers.
Parish Logo: If you are interested in submitting your ideas for a Parish Logo there is
still time to do so. Please email them, using the parish email address, to Barry Wolff
(Business Manager) or provide them in hard copy to the Parish Office.
Parish Office: The office will be closed from 29th June to 9th July. Notices for the
bulletin, anniversaries etc can be left with Barry Wolff, Business Manager, Monday to
Wednesday.

We all Stand on Sacred Ground: Learn, Respect and Celebrate


Our land of Australia is sacred to us all but it is especially sacred to our Indigenous
peoples, held sacred in their beliefs, culture and spirituality.
We acknowledge the Gunditjmara people, the Traditional
Owners, who walked upon and cared for this land for thousands
of years. May we all work together and commit ourselves to the
ongoing journey of Reconciliation
Parish Stewardship Program 2015..Parishesthe heartbeat of the Church:
The Program commences in 2 weeks. It will provide a good opportunity for us to
reflect on what it means to be a member of St Josephs Parish Community.
All parishioners are warmly invited to the key meeting of the ProgramThe Parish
Information Meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5th August. At this meeting we
will gather as a parish community to celebrate our achievements and plan for the
future...please mark this date in your calendar.
St Vincent de Paul: The Societys Winter Appeal for their works in assisting the
poor and underprivileged is conducted annually throughout Australia around this
time. St Josephs Conference Appeal is being held this weekend at all Masses.
Donations to be placed on 2nd collection. Thank you for your assistance.
Young Adults Gathering and Movie Night: Selma 8.00pm, Thursday 9th July,
Hammond Fellowship Centre, Christ Church, cnr Koroit & Henna Sts. Taiz style
prayer followed by movie and supper. All welcome, no charge.
Bishop Pauls Pastoral Letter (Royal Commission): If you missed out on a copy of
the Bishops letter last week more copies are available in the Gathering Space.
Golden Jubilee of Priestly Ordination: Fr Barry Ryan is celebrating his Golden
Jubilee of Priestly Ordination at St Columba's Parish Church, Ballarat North, Sunday
19th July at 10.00am Mass. Fr Barry will also celebrate with us here at St Josephs
on Sunday 13th September at 10.30am. All are most welcome.
Love Makes A Way is a South West Victorian Christian group, concerned with the
issue of children in immigration detention. The group has devised three initiatives : A
letter writing roster, a prayer roster, sharing information. If you wish to be involved
more details on Notice Board.
