Objectives
The objective of this assignment is to expand students knowledge on the Land Law.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the assignment, students should be able to comprehend and analyse the concept and legal
principles of land law under the National Land Code 1965.
Requirements
You are required to present a written assignment on the following topic:Indefeasibility of title and interests means that the title or interest in respect of which the holder is
registered is immune from attack by adverse claims affecting the same land or interest. This
however, is subject to many exceptions. Discuss.

FORMAT OF SUBMISSION
1) This will be a group assignment consist of less than or 5 (FIVE) members.
2) The report must be typed and presented in A4 size paper. Font size Times New Roman 12,
margins 2.5cm top/bottom, 3.5cm left/right, spacing 1.5, justified paragraph.
3) The submission must be properly bound using comb binding with plastic cover on the front and
back.
4) Minimum of 3,000 words. No maximum words but the report must be of reasonable length to
discuss the scope of the topic. A 20 minutes presentation on the same subject is required.
5) Students are strongly advised to use their judgement not to provide redundant and non-relevant
information.
6) It must incorporate a table of content with relevant page number, introduction, body of content,
conclusion which may include recommendation and a reference list.
7) The content must be well structured and flow logically to form a single written work.
8) All information gathered and analyzed must be presented according to the format.
9) Plagiarism is not allowed and will be penalised. To avoid it, please quote the sources that you
have obtained according to Harvard referencing format.
10) Students are required to bind the assignment in the following order according to sample
format:a) Assignment front cover, complete with all information properly typed
b) Rubric Assessment for Report & Presentation
c) Marking scheme for Report
d) Marking scheme for Presentation with name & student ID number properly typed
11) Students shall be responsible for organising their own group resources to meet the requirements.
12) Students are encouraged to ask any questions pertaining to this assignment during lectures or
tutorials if they have any doubts or ambiguities.
