requested to furnish your offer in a sealed cover subscribing the envelop with
name of work and last date of Submission, along with EMD of
Rs 2.9 lakhs drawn in favour of MIDHANI. The tenders without EMD
amount will be rejected; request for adjustment from pending bills will not
be entertained. Estimated Value Rs 115 lakhs.
Tender shall be submitted in
tender box kept at Corporate office on or
before 18/10/13 up to 10.00 hrs.
The period of completion of job will be 330 days from the date of signing the
contract agreement as per (ref page no. 4, clause no. (2)) part -I of technical bid.
Time is essence of the contract; contractor has to mobilize materials & labour to
complete within 330 days time period.
The tenderer shall inspect the site of work and understand the scope of work
before quoting.
All materials required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor unless until
specified in Bill of Quantities.
This is an item rate contract and the quantities are approximate, but payment will
be made only on actual work done based on joint measurement. MIDHANI
reserves the right to operate or delete any item in the BOQ.
You will be paid 8 R.A bills and one Final Bill only.
a) The 8 R.A bills will be paid with 50% advance without checking within 7days &
balance amount within 15 days from the date of certificate of Engineer-in-charge.
However, Final payment will be made within 30 days after satisfactory completion
of work and certification by Engineer-in-charge.
b) Apart from the RA bills for the work done, the contractor will be paid material
advance against material brought to the site at the rate of 75% of purchased bill
cost for structural steel, TMT reinforcement and cement 53 grade brought to the
site. However, while issuing advance to steel (reinforcement/structural) Engineerin-charge holds the right to reduce 20% of quantity brought to the site and to limit
within BOQ value.
The work shall be carried out as per MES-SSR-2009 specifications.

10. Security Deposit should be in the form by for 10% value of contract and the same
should be submitted within the 15 days from the date of signing of contract
should be valid till completion of contract along with 3 months claim period.
11. The security and safety rules of MIDHANI to be followed. The contractor shall
take care of all labour laws regarding minimum wages, ESI, PF., Group
Insurance, CAR ( Contractors all risk policy) etc., MIDHANI is no way responsible
in this respect. MIDHANI is not liable for any claim in respect of any accidents or
otherwise excepting to the extent of work completed as per the contractor.
12. MIDHANI reserves the right to split the tender in order to expedite the work within
contract period specified in the document.
13. MIDHANI reserves the right to operate partial or delete any item specified in
BOQ without any compensation to contractor for the items non operated or
deleted.
14. You should not cause any loss or damage to MIDHANI property / or personnel, if
any loss or damage is caused the cost of the same will be recovered from your
bills cost of loss or damage will be deducted by MIDHANI, which will be final.
15. If the work is abandoned / stopped without bringing proper notice to Engineer-incharge, your contractor will be terminated and balance work will be carried out at
the cost and risk of contractor.
16. Liquidated Damages: - If the work is not completed within stipulated time.
Liquidated damages at 0 .1% per day delay up to maximum of 10% total value
will be deducted. MIDHANI management reserves the right to wave the LD as per
the conditions expressed in Technical bid.
17. The offer shall be valid for 3 months from the date of opening of tender.
18. Interested parties may attend tender opening on 18/10/13 at 11.00 hrs.
19. Incomplete or partially filled tenders will be rejected. MIDHANI reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
20. In case of successful tender all material bills shall be submitted along with final
bills.
21. Please submit detailed construction programs on a Bar-Chart within a week
time from the date of receipt of work order.

This tender covers the structural & civil details for the emergency over head tank:

EMERGENCY OVER HEAD TANK: This is a RCC structure with a conical funnel shaped
tank at a approximate height of 45.00m from ground. The storage capacity of tank is
225m3. The tank will store the raw water which will be used to meet the emergency
requirements of utility system during power failure. The tank is supported on a RCC shaft
with ID as 5.00mt & OD as 5.70 mt. The shaft is having a security watch tower at an El.
10.200mt. the shaft also has structural steel internal maintenance platforms at regular
interval of 4.40 mt along the shaft height. It is proposed to construct the shaft using
Conventional method of construction.
The item wise approximate quantities for the above mentioned overhead tank are as given
in the below table.
