Welcome to The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K, Presented by Nike 2015!
We have developed this race guide to provide you with all the information you will need to make your
experience at the event as FANTASTIC as possible. Welcome to the Happiest 5k on the Planet!

Check-in Party
Come to the Check-in Party and pick up your race
packet! In order to pick up your packet, please
remember to bring a printed or digital copy of
your confirmation email with the QR code on it.
To find your confirmation email, please search
your inbox for "Registration Confirmation for The
Color Run."
You can also pick up packets for your friends and
teammates provided you have a copy of their
confirmation email as well.
You cannot pick up packets for other runners
without their QR code!!
Reminder: You cannot transfer your registration to
another runner within 1 week of the event. Groupon
registrations are non-transferable

*Included in your registration:

You will receive your custom MLB Nike t-shirt, tattoo, and
headband at check in.You will receive your Medal, SHINE
powder pack, and Color Pack when you cross the finish line.
Please make sure to wear your race bib on race day!

MLB mascots and legends will be partying it
up and ready for posing and pics from 7am - 9am.
Running with Children
Participants that will be running with their children
are encouraged to pick up a wristband for their
child (pictured below).
You can pick up a wristband at the check-in party.

Getting There
Color Runners, we highly encourage you to arrive early for
this event. With thousands of other participants coming,
you'll want to avoid the rush right before the race. We
strongly encourage you to pick up your packet Thursday or
Friday.
Please plan on being at the venue early. Road closures
for the event will affect the majority of surrounding
roads (including Taylor Southgate Bridge) starting at
8am.

Please note: Due to the downtown event

course, we must have all participants through
the start chute by 10am SHARP. If you arrive
after 10am, the start chute will be closed.

In case of extreme weather, stay updated on race day

conditions by checking the city event page on The Color
Run website.

Dont feel like running but want to get in on the
fun? Consider volunteering and be part of The
Happiest 5k on the Planet!

IMPORTANT: You will receive a WRISTBAND in your race packet. This wristband is mandatory for the
event and any post-race activities. We have some super cool stuff going on...Scotts Slip n' Slide,
TriHealth Human Car Wash, and T-Mobile Color Drums!! If your friends or family come party with you
at the finish line, they will also need to sign a waiver and receive a wristband (can be done on-site) in
order to participate. In order to enter the Budweiser Beer Garden, you must be 21+ and show identification to receive a separate wristband.
Please Note: There are no lockers or bag drop facilities so arrive ready to run and plan to keep any
items you bring with you or leave your valuables at home.

Reminders
To find lost items or to be reunited with friends,
our Lost & Found area will be located at/near the
Check-in tent.
Please attach your bib number so it is visible on
your shirt. This is how you will be identified as a
Color Runner.
Teams may run in a group or separately, it is
completely up to you.
Friends and family are welcome to meet up with
participants in the general festival areas. Only
Color Runners will be allowed in the finish chute
area.

Safety First
Runners please keep to the left; walkers and
participants with strollers, etc. keep to the right.
If running with small children, please watch and
direct them through the race.
If you are concerned at all with any part of the
run, feel free to wear safety glasses, a bandana,
or dust mask.
Please follow any directions provided by race
officials, volunteers, and law enforcement.
No glass bottles, containers etc. allowed at the
venue (parking lots, sidewalks, streets, course,
etc.).
Above all, please be courteous and respectful to
everyone around you.
