Keeping a pipeline clean is necessary not only for
maintaining constant flow rates, and thus reducing
operating costs, but also for extending asset lifetime.
In addition, it is essential as preparation for efficient
pipeline inspections. ROSENs Easy Clean tool is a
modular, bi-directional disc model for general cleaning
and pre-commissioning applications.

RoPlasthan with products featuring a
1015 % increase in tensile strength and tear
resistance and a
3050 % reduction in abrasion loss over the entire
shore hardness range
we have developed the cost efficient state-of-the-art pipe
cleaning tools: Easy Clean.
Available in the pipe diameter range from 4 to 56, this
versatile and unique tool provides the following key

long operating life due to highly resistant RoPlasthan
materials
1.5 D bend-radius passing ability for the standard
version
3.0 D bend-radius passing ability for the long-run
version
operating temperature range -40 to +80 C, optional
up to +120 C
sturdy design, ease of maintenance

modular design to accommodate a variety of specific
applications
In its basic configuration, Easy Clean can be used for
most pipeline cleaning applications such as batching,
general cleaning and removal of liquids. Its modular
structure enables additional applications, notably
heavy-duty-cleaning and wax removal, ferrous debris
elimination and gauging. It is also an ideal tool for
pipeline precommissioning.

Sand blasted carbon steel, coated with primer and
epoxyresin. Flanges radiused to avoid sharp edges,
designed to withstand extreme differential pressures.

Guiding Discs
(Standard version: 2 discs, long-run version: 4 discs)

Modular in structure, Easy Clean offers a range of

functions to meet the demands of modern cleaning tools.
Most of the modules can easily be installed by simply
replacing discs or spacers.
RoPlasthan scraping discs (1 or 2 sets)
Cleaning brushes in carbon steel, stainless steel or nylon
Ring magnets (1 or 2)
Gauge plate
ITX transmitter with EPD receiving unit

Bumper Nose
One plastic bumper mounted on each side in order to
protect tool and transmitter from impact and allow for
BIDI operation without changeover.

Nuts & Bolts

Metric bolting grade 8.8, zinc plated. Metallic self-locking
nuts in compliance with DIN 980 V, except for Single Bolt
Tools which are mounted with castle nuts and split pins.
Spring washers are used where bolts are mounted in
threaded holes.
