Directors Message It has certainly been an explosive first 6 months of 2015 for Ksenia Bodrova
the IMD Organisation. We have seen the promotion of 4 Impulse Marketing
Assistant Owners, 1 Owner Partner and a total of 5 Crew
Leaders, which was all topped off by the export of 2 IMD
power leaders to set the pace in our newest country – France.

Q2 saw the introduction and launch of our very exclusive

S.I.R Elite group, which has also already seen 4 of its 18
members get promoted to Crew Leadership only 6 weeks
Jacob McKinnon
following the first meeting.
Maximus Athletic
A special mention goes out to Jaeger Phips for breaking the
IMD all time record of hitting Crew Leadership in only a 14
week period from the day she started. We have also had the
privilege of hearing prestigious speakers such as Managing
Director Mike Blaine, Vice President Mars Cowley, and
Organisational Head Tony Otero.
This group of game changers looks set for big things by the
end of 2015 with the goal of 50% of its members promoted to Katie Black
Assistant Ownership. Storm Marketing

Congratulations to Katie Black and Storm Marketing who broke their all-time weekly office PB
of 290 donors for their respective Charities. More recently the Norwich location broke its
weekly PB by acquiring 127 donors in a week and has doubled in size. James Marshall and
Magnum Marketing keep going from strength to strength in Home Delivery breaking their
weekly Hello Fresh and Riverford combined weekly PB and also promoting a new Assistant
Owner in Kandeepan Amaranath. James Marshall
Magnum Marketing
As an Organisation we have been involved with pioneering and coaching the country into the
‘Hello Fresh’ campaign. Which has already acquired 29,480 customers in its first 18 months,
and IMD being the first office to break 200 residential sales in one week. Riverford also
continue to be a successful and profitable campaign for all involved, with the last customer
acquisition count coming in at 39,849 since February 2013.

The Old Street location continues to be a power house for the Organisation, with 4 trading Hannah Godsmark
offices at the forefront of driving the charities division in London to new heights, and also the Core Advertising
HQ for tests in Home Delivery. Stephen Pindar helped with the launch and the subsequent
success of the new Field and Flower campaign. Hello Fresh have a goal of generating
£1,000,000 new customers in the next 5 years, we look set to grow big in all cities around the
UK as a healthy, fresh, and long term partnership. Big recognition goes out to Stephen Pindar
and S.P.O Global that are now trading as a business in the London Bridge location. Finally
congratulations to Brian Martin for his promotion to Assistant Ownership.

What an amazing year it has been for the Home Delivery Division, which has also been pegged Power Marketing Direct
as the ‘Industry of the Future’, and is also inevitably the fastest growing division within the
Appco group worldwide. The division is currently running at 18 offices across 4 different
campaign, with around 250FR’s in the field every day, and now even more test products in the
pipeline at the end of Q3!! This year so far has seen the breaking of EVERY SINGLE PB in all
campaigns, even the Riverford weekly FR campaign which held for 9 months was broken in
May by Dean in Bristol who finished on a 9.8 piece average for the week – 59 pieces!! Week
ending 7th June saw the divisions biggest ever week in the division, with 2,094 Sales being Stephen Pindar
done across Riverford, Abel and Cole (Weekly PB for them too – 401), Field and Flower SPO Global
(Weekly PB for them too – 299), and Hello Fresh (Guess what…weekly PB for them too – 1,428).
We also held our first ever Hello Fresh masterclass, which had over 200 FR’s in attendance,
along with the always very popular Patrick Drake, and the entire hello fresh management team.
Patrick (chef) and Ed (MD) went on to praise everyone for their continued performance of both Michael

UK, has now been changed to 1 MILLION as a direct reflection of our current success, and Daniel

Finally if we can replicate the 48 Leaders promoted in Q2 through the next 12 month, it means
IMD will grow by 144 leaders by the end of the year. So quite simply we are again ready to repeat
the process in Q3, forever getting closer to our ultimate goal of 400 FR’s by the end of 2015. Sonia

On Saturday 2nd May 2015 – Sunday 3rd May 2015, 20
individually selected S.I.R Elite members arrived at the
prestigious Beaumont Estate Hotel, Windsor, ready for a
weekend of education and fun. This was “S.I.R Elite” – the
eager, enthusiastic, ambitious group of people who look set to

followed by a superb 3 course private dinner. The following day
was activity driven, with an “It’s a Knockout” karting event.
Overall, it was a meeting to remember, and we have already
seen 3 crew leader promotions from the S.I.R Elite Members in
Barndon Sloan, Jaeger Phipps and Pia Bjorn.

The S.I.R Elite Club is an exclusive, invitation only leaders’ club

setting the pace, and constantly increasing sales standards.
With their commitment to achieving their goals we have every
confidence that these leaders are the next rising stars who will
achieve great success in the future.

Our Organizational goal is simple we want to see every

member of the S.I.R Elite benefiting from our experience and
our past mistakes, putting them on the fast track to Ownership.

‘After working for years in management positions waiting for the next promotion
that never happened I appreciate the performance based promotions in this
business. Being a member is a privilege and shouldn't be taken for granted. We get
more information and time with people who have achieved more in this business
and being a part of a highly competitive group pushes all of us individually to
perform to a higher standard.’
Pia Bjorn

‘There are no caps on what you can achieve in terms of income and progression. The
business is open to anyone who is ambitious and the level of ambition is never
judged or compared.
Being part of the S.I.R Elite is a privilege and something that makes me proud to be
apart of- it shows recognition of my potential and has given me access to a network
Jaeger Phipps of like minded people and an opportunity to achieve my goals faster’

‘What I love about the Industry is the platform set in place that allows you to achieve
a title (org head/VP) and the financial freedom that comes with it.
Being a S.I.R member is amazing as you are seen as someone who will reach
ownership, it gives me confidence the company believes/ is behind me all the way’

Before I joined Appco I had finished my masters degree in aerospace
engineering. I was doing work in retail and promotions as temporary work. I
was seeking a role related to sales and bumped into Appco on a recruitment
website. My goals are to have an Organisation of my own spread across 5
major cities including Zurich, London, Sydney and LA. I also want to retire
by 45. Top Tips: Determination, understand the amazing opportunity and be
good with working with different types of people.

DELPHINE BOACHIE
Before starting this business I was a medical student in need of a break. I
wanted to travel, meet new people, learn and try something new and
different. To get out of the lab basically. So 8 months later I am here. To me
this business is a mind game. The only thing stopping you from your
promotions is yourself so what helped me (and my mentality) was… •
Enjoying the challenges. The more you get and the quicker you bounce back
from them, the quicker you progress. • Before blaming others or
circumstances, question yourself, ‘how could I have adapted better? Could I
have done something different?’ • Don’t take yourself too seriously. Have
more fun, genuinely care for the team you are working with, their goals, and
enjoy the journey. Short term I want to go to France as an Owner, visit the
Caribbean’s and take my family to New Zealand. Long term I want to open
up my own charity association and take care of my mum’s retirement.

AARON CALLABY
I started the company when I was living in Northampton. I had only one full
time job previously, as a data admin for a cheque processing company. I
wanted to do a job that wasn’t going to be solely office based, and in

to move to a place in London. Top tips: • Know the guys in your crew, put
their goals in line with yours. • Have a great team unity. • Have a goal, stick to

KAREEM WILSON
Before starting I was studying ‘Creative writing and Film & Cinema technologies’
with the aim of becoming an author, a goal of which i still intend to hit. I was
looking for a job because I needed the money and ended up applying for this
because I saw an advert about having presentation skills. What captured me was the
fun element, but what I love about being here is the progression opportunity (I
always think I’ve been quite ambitious and like wearing a suit). My primary
personal goals for the future is to spend Christmas break (24th Dec. 2015 -1st Jan.
2016) in Switzerland for my birthday because I’ve never really done anything
special or memorable for my birthday and I wanted to reward myself. Business
wise, I want UK-based offices in Riverford, HF and Field & Flour and I want to
open a HF office in Holland. Top tips: • Develop a bullet proof mentality to
challenges and learn to problem solve. • Have fun, enjoy the ride and understand
it’s a journey. • Have a goal. It doesn’t matter what it is or what others think of it as
long as it 100% means something to you.

PIA BJORN
My background is in hospitality. I'm a cocktail bartender and I have a degree in
hospitality management. I managed nightclubs in Finland where I'm from and I
loved it. I decided to leave that industry because there is very little progression and
you will not be rewarded according to your level of effort unless you own the
place. Top tips for getting promoted: 1. Want it more than others want it.
What you're working towards needs to wholeheartedly consume you each day 2.
Work harder at fixing your weaknesses than the average person will and be willing
to fix the areas you think are not your weakest areas. 3. Educate yourself outside
of this business. YouTube, books, magazines etc are endless sources of
information you can use to develop yourself. 4. Don't expect it to be handed to
you. Nothing worth having comes easy but can make it look easy. 5. The fact that
you are strong enough to be different, determined and you dare to question the
stagnant patterns of doing it the same way always isn't being selfish, but it's the
courage and the choice that frees up time and your presence for selfless acts. It will
come with a price and that is the howling of the whiners. 6. Don't be jealous of
others success, learn from them and beat them at their own game. Future goals:
Stage 5 by September. Promote 3 people to stage in my first year of business. Do
what's in my power to help those around me achieve their goals. Buy my dad a
new boat, my mum an annual holiday and myself a pair of Manolo Blahniks.

BRANDON SLOAN
Before starting with Innovation Marketing I was in the Retail/Customer Service
industry, I worked on salary plus commission, therefore I had a good
understanding how the payment structure worked, how hard you work
determines your outcome in terms of progression and financial status. Tips Tips:
Sales- being persistent within the office, and when customer facing in order to
become more profitable with good customer service skills. Team Building –
Having a strong relationship with your team members is key to progression as
they will push you through. Future Goals: My Business Goals: I would like to be
invited to ‘Future Owners Meetings’ and visit more locations in the UK involved
in the Home Delivery division. My Personal Goals: I would like to hit Assistant
Owner criteria by the end of 2015 and move into a new office location by
January/February 2016 running an office within the Home Delivery division.

STEPHANIE NICOLE
I found the advert on the internet, applied & was successful. I then saw ways to
build a career. I enjoy communicating with people and the business looked easy
with no seniority policy. Future Goals: Open offices and own properties in
multiple cities: Cyprus, Germany, Switzerland and London. Top Tips: Set a
timely goal and inspire people. Get observations excited how much money they
can make. Set the pace and enjoy working and being together.

SAMUEL OLANIYI
I was unemployed for about a year. I thought I was looking for a job but I
really wasn’t, when I was personally recruited by my younger sister who was
then working in the Home Efficiency Division. I was immediately turned on
to the Business Development Programme and soon came to realise that this
was the same company that my best friend had recently been promoted in.
From then on, my mentality had been, if he can do it, so can I! Top Tips: •
Understand that to succeed you need to be able to build positive relationships
& put 100% into people achieving their dreams • Try to think as long term as
possible • Start as you mean to go on • Assume the role of the owner • It’s
your business • Be the best student • Have a plan • Try your best to see the
positive in negative situations • If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing it
properly! Goals: • Go on 2 holidays this year • To be able to give my mum a
weekly wage • Make £100,000 from now until the end of my first year of
ownership • Have deposit money for a property in Essex by the end of my
first of ownership.

JAEGER PHIPPS
Don't be afraid of a retrain- as a leader you can get caught up with training
and ultimately lose or pick up small habits that effect your sales. Go on a
retrain with your leader and they'll remind you of what you was or wasn't
doing when you were high rolling. Confidence- trust your leader, trust the
systems and have complete belief that when you apply what you've learnt
you’re going to get a result. Trust in your abilities 100% and get good at
building your own confidence by reminding yourself of what you have
achieved. Top Tips: • Get good at balancing your time with yourself and your
guys. • When it comes to your guys, whether it's planning, having a meeting
or just having a general conversation - always have in mind the type of
relationship you want to create. I want my guys to be able to come to me on a
professional level as well as be able to have a friendship with them. • Know
why you are here and where you are going! Future Goals: • Get promoted to
stage 5 by October • Move to Buckhurst Hill by November • Ownership by
February 2016 • Open 3 offices within 5 years of ownership

ANDEMIR BIZHOEV
Before joining the business I was studying masters in international economics
policy and analyst, I worked for Knight Frank Russia as a commercial estate
analyst for a year, also started a small car rental business. Top Tips: • Have a
goal and a clear vision of what you want to achieve • Don’t concentrate on
obstacles that get in your way • Don’t give up and keep pushing to your goal.
Future Goals: • To run my own marketing company in Manchester
• Promote one outside deal in first year • Save £60,000 in first year • Invest in
other industries after first year (different franchises) • Buy a luxury apartment
in central Manchester • Go to Dubai for 5 days in first year of ownership.
