English language

English is a language that started being spread around the world


around the 19th century. And it has become a leading language
internationally. Historically, English come from a mixture of
languages and dialects (mostly Germanic, Latin and French).
English is learned as a second language and used as an official
language of the European Union and many other countries.
Thats why English are important in many jobs.
Over a billion people speak English to at least a basic level. About 375
million people speak English as their first language. English today is the third most
spoken language by native speakers.

1,000,000,000 are learning it.

75% of the world's letters and postcards are written in English.
