1.1 Singular and Plural Nouns
1.1.1 Singular Noun
A singular noun denotes one person, thing or place.
Example :

1.1.2 Plural Noun
A plural noun denotes more than one or many.
a. Plural noun that end with s
Example : egg - eggs
b. Plural noun that end with es
Example : bench - benches
c. Plural noun that end ies
Example : baby babies
d. Plural noun that end with ves
Example : leaf leaves
1.1.3 Irregular Plural Nouns
Some irregular plural nouns do not have a plural form
A tooth teeth
A woman women
1.1.4 Possessive Noun
The possessive form of a Noun shows that something belongs
to someone.
An apostrophe () is added to the noun to show that somebody
owns
something.
Examples
My teachers car is dirty.
The crab bit the dogs tail.
Malaysias national car is the proton Saga
